The whole year last year, they were really bad. Couldn't tackle. Couldn't get off the field. If it wasn't for 🇦🇷 having one of the best years EVER by a QB, we would have been a 7-9 team at best.
As a historian, having an elite O and a horrible D doesn't bode very well. Teams very rarely win championships with that combination.
The way we made Alex Smith look like an elite QB was pathetic. I've followed the guy his entire career. He's really bad. People like to rag on Jay Cutler, but Jay Cutler is probably about 2 or 3 statuses ahead of Alex Smith.
As I said in another post, Dom Capers has 7 weeks left to win me over. Right now, he's on my shitlist.
