Gee I wonder who the target market is for this ad? Must be 65 year old women on a fixed income looking for an inexpensive car that is easy on gas.

link

Bikini models plus Scion iQ doing donuts plus spilled milk all over bikini models equals one viral car ad custom-made for controversy. It's also the entire plot of Scion's "Babes + Donuts" ad that aired last week on the carmaker's YouTube channel, before mysteriously disappearing. The other three related ads -- all featuring guys -- some, like the ladies, similarly non-attired -- remain up, and Scion hasn't said why the sexually suggestive ad was pulled. Perhaps it's because YouTube powerhouse Philip DeFranco called the ad out for being sleazy? Or that pulling the ad makes it even more taboo?

Now, are they really bimbos? Who's the idiot, one of them who's making probably $20k for being in that ad (taking a day to shoot) or me sitting here at work getting carpal tunnel? I think it's the latter. If I looked like that, I'd do that ad.

Made in America: Which Car Creates the Most Jobs?

Is the car assembled here?

Toyota: Yes, it takes more than 6,000 American workers to build the Camrys we buy.
Ford: Yes, it takes 2,250 workers to build the Escape.

How much of the car contains U.S. parts?

Toyota Camry: 80 percent.
Ford Escape: 65 percent.

How many cars were sold in a given year?

Toyota Camry: The most popular seller, 328,000 were sold last year.
Ford Escape: Just under 200,000 were sold in 2010.

The U.S. brand that creates the most American jobs?
The Ford Escape, which creates 13 assembly line jobs for every 100 cars sold, based on 2010 sales figures and company supplied information on how many workers actually man the assembly lines.

That is good, but doesn't top the Kentucky-built Toyota, which creates almost 20 U.S.-based manufacturing jobs for every 100 cars sold.......

Let's also keep in mind that there are both blue collar and white collar jobs that make cars. The engineers for the foreign companies are all overseas whereas the engineers for Ford all work in Detroit.

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt ā€œice coldā€
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
