I know it's an Ohio State thing for you, but Hawk is a liability on the field in passing situations. Plain and simple and what bothers me is that he is overpaid. Trust me Buckeye, I don't sit here on Sunday afternoons rooting against the guy - but he is what he is, an overpaid slow linebacker that can't stay with a safety. I would much rather watch him blitz than trail a TE or RB.

As for Jones, I don't quite understand all the love he gets, but once again, I don't root against him - I just don't think he does anything special. He should be a beast over the middle with his body size, but that's where Finley plays. James Jones is a luxury if anything, but Cobb is going to take his production away.

A.J. Hawk has done everything The Packers have asked of him.

When they needed a middle lb he moved to a position he had never played before.

When they switched to the 3-4 and The Packers tried to replace him in 2010, he bided his time and when lbr's started dropping like flies Hawk was the one who stepped up and took over the roll of Def qb, filling in for Barnett and being the ONLY lb to start the last 16(includes play-offs) games of the season.

What do you mean by overpaid?

Hawk didn't hold a gun to Ted's head, in fact Ted cut him and the resigned him as a way to keep him with a cap friendly contract.

I guess the point I am trying to make is If there was somebody out there that was available to Ted who was better than Hawk, don't you think he would have signed him and let Hawk go?

Trust in Ted. he knows best for Packers

The Metrics were posted by someone on this site. I will search for them and see if I can post the link.

I could only find up to week 13. Posted by RashaanSalaami.

JAMES Jones. Buckeye is correct, including the A.J. thing, imo

Am I the only one who thinks it more likely that Ted Thompson will trade out of the first round?

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : I haven't watched the pregame shows in years and I don't feel like I've missed a thing
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Love says knee affected him all season, groin injury didn't help matters.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : I used to enjoy him on FOX Pregame. Now it's like a frat party of former Patriots.
