Teams have been getting good yards up the middle even with A.J. Hawk. I'm not discrediting Hawk, just stating the obvious here.

I wonder if the fact that the Packers have a high powered offense has any merit on teams going away from the run against the Packers? Nah, that can't be it! Against mediocre and better RB's, the Packers have problems stopping them.

Yeah, we're probably good against the run because teams are forced to stop running and throw to keep up with us so it's a negligible stat.

So scratch that last thought. 🤔

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't another victory clinch the No. 2 seed for the Packers? At that point, the worst they could finish would be 13-3. The best the 49ers can finish is 14-2, which would give them the No. 1 seed, while the best the Saints can finish is 13-3, but the Packers hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over them.

Ugh, the Submit button didn't work again. I fleshed out my last post but it hadn't posted by the time you replied. My question might make more sense now.

If it is straight up head to head, then yeah, you're right. Packers win, they get a BYE in the playoffs.

TheKanataThrilla (1h) : I could actually see Seattle inquiring about Willis.
TheKanataThrilla (1h) : If we took a flyer on a QB, I like Kyle McCord out of Syaracuse. Keep Willis definitely, but don't turn down a good trade.
