THe title is misleading unless I'm missing something. Barnett is gone, but the Harrell talk is pure speculation correct?

I hope they don't release Harrell. Yeah, he will just get injured again, but he's such a good guy!

Cut Harrell, Pops, and Tausch.

Keep Grant and Chillar.

Unless cutting everyone with question marks will allow the team cap room to sign a bigger FA, guys like Grant and Chillar still have value imo. Money saved on guys like Pops and Harrell can be used to keep guys like Kuhn.

If Jones moves to ILB he might be able to replace Chillar... and then if Chillar is cut the Packers save money.

But that might leave the depth at OLB thin with Matthews, Zombo, Walden and ______ ....

Barnett deserves his own thread, but I guess this is the one we have. I just want to mention that I saw him on the news last night, and he was very classy about the whole thing. He comes across much better in person that he does on Twitter. He did not complain. He noted that a team can't have three players at the same position who earn starting money, and they had decided to go in another direction. He mentioned a few teams that he would consider going to. The ones I remember were Tampa Bay, San Diego, and Detroit.
