The first video pretty much proves it, doesn't it?

Look at the o-linemen. They put a finesse, pass-catching TE on Zombo.

Second video, Ryan tries to step up and get away from Matthews and Raji, after which Zombo gets him down. Although that was an impressive rush.

The last one has Woodson and Matthews showing some impressive skills with Zombo getting there eventually, together with half the D-line.

Of course, to get a sack, a couple of things have to happen. You're usually not going to get a sack because of one player doing his job. But in our case, I feel like the OLB opposite of Clay is usually the beneficiary of some good D-line play and Clay's pass rushing skills.

And yes, you're right, you're not just going to get another Clay Matthews, but you can get another guy who can get to the QB consistently. It's how the Giants stay competetive, it's how the Steelers stay competetive, it's what carried the Ravens defense before they became mediocre...

Alright. I take that back. Rock once again is right.

(His music taste though still is questionable, despite him thinking it's sublime).

Slapnuts?

slapnuts-

A method of punishment and pain compliance administered by a short, sharp slap to the nutsack, either forehand or backhand, but with an open palm.

Ow.

We call applaud points - giving a slapnut because it is so gay. Whoever gives puts me into triple digits is going to pay because it means I have joined the club of long winded speech writers around here.

Isn't Rock too young to understand what is "sublime"?

Sublime is:
1. A perfect martini (Plymouth gin, gently stirred while whispering the word "vermouth" over the ice, poured off the ice into an ice-cold glass holding two queen size olives.
2. Jessica Biel in a clinging basic black evening gown slit thigh high and revealing black stockings and stiletto heels.
3. A seven-course candlelight meal at a 5-star restaurant with bit of Dexter Gordon playing in the background.
4. Dancing cheek-to-cheek with 2 after enjoying 1 and 3 with her.

That is sublime. Not a group named after marsupials.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I don't think I'm as much right as I think the production is lacking, while GLAL thinks it's enough.

And since we're coming off a SB victory, I guess it was enough.

Or too foreign.

Anyway, I said my taste in music was sublime, not The Wombats. Although I guess the same could be said for them.

Reading comprehension just isn't a strong point of college professors. Found that out here, as well.

[quote="I know what you mean, but if you really see this as a position of problem, you don't go ahead and take 6th, 7th rounders and UDFAs to fix it. It's just that they inexplicably keep ignoring the OLB position while the entire football world is screaming out for them to do something about it.

I like what Ted Thompson did. He got two guardian angels(tackles) for the future for Rodgers. Long term I believe that is more important than than any other options he had. Taking Hughes last year would have been very bad and trading up this year to get Miller would have broken the "draft bank". Ted Thompson must have felt it was not worthwhile trading up for either of the 2nd rounders, I trust his judgement. It seems he likes the potential we already have on the team somewhat, although this is just a guess.

I would like to see us get a second pass rusher also. But for now I'll go with Ted Thompson and what we have and what we've drafted. Maybe Elmore will surprise.

Continuity will do more for that position than yet another different player. We had 5 players at that position because of injuries.

We get one healthy guy that makes it through the year and we are already better there.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.
