The Packers are running out of chances to catch the Bears.

They are 2 games behind in division record and common games. The best they can do is tie.

Thier conference record is so bad now that they need another 2 teams to collapse (Eagles and Buccaneers or possibly the Giants) in order to back or stumble into the playoffs as a wild card team.

All the losses have finally caught up with them. Every one of them was a huge loss.

The Packers need everyone to beat the Eagles and Buccaneers and somehow themselves try to win a game.

Playoff hopes are looking bleak right now.

Patriots Giants and Bears. The Packers have run out of warm bodies to fill the roster.

Bears are getting whopped against the Pats. Highly unlikely they comeback down 36.

Considering the Jets still have to play Bears, and the Vikings play the Bears one more time... well there is a chance the Bears come to Lambeau tied with the Packers.

But the general point you make is correct - the Packers no longer control their own fate. They need help from other teams to get to the playoffs now.

I would hope that the Packers are able to win 1 out of 3 games, especially with an upcoming game against a team getting whalloped today by the Pats, the same team who beat the Pack predominantly due to 18 penalties and some ill-timed turnovers.

Whether or not the Packers will make the playoffs is another question.

Win another game?

Yeah they can. I think they will too. I wouldn't be shocked to see them win their last two games.

Win the division?

I don't see it unless Chicago fails to win a game the rest of the way. If it is a tie, they hold the tiebreaker I believe since they have the same amount of division losses, but fewer conference losses. Of course I am assuming Chicago loses to the Packers and Minnesota the rest of the way.

I continue to be baffled why some people are chalking up the Jets game as a loss for the Bears. The Jets have only scored offensive touchdowns against one winning team all year. I will be surprised if the Bears don't win that game.

I'm not trying to be depressing but 8-8 is a real possibility.

We should smoke the Bears. We played our absolute worst game (even worse than Detroit, IMO) last time. It won't happen again.

Sure we can make it into the playoffs but.... I believe that's as far as we go. With so many starters out, no running
game to speak of and the O-liner reverting to it's early season form I can't see us getting past one game against a playoff caliber team.

I know that sounds very pessimistic but that's how I see it. I believe in this team but there is a lot to overcome.
