They're a good team and so are we. I don't really have anything against what they said. Number one, they're not as informed about the Packers as we are, just like we're not as informed about the Falcons as they are. And you have to account for a little fan bias. That goes without saying. Still, I think we can and will win this game. I don't think they quite match up with us. Our d-line has gotten pressure and our blitz packages have been effective. Our o-line has been solid for about a month now and I look for that to be a continuing trend. Our running game has improved and Jackson still remains a key pass catcher and pass blocker. Our receivers are dangerous and our secondary is sound. Both our offense and defense have shifted into full attack mode.

Agreed Bozz.. but I always find it interesting to peer through the eyes of another....

What they think of us should not be insulting.. more or less an opportunity to reevaluate our views upon inspection.

But in the Jets game.. we were given two picks that were questionable at best if we start wanting to get into they won on a pass interference.

Just saying. 😉 {awaits the chorus of repeats or objections to the phrase}

Maybe they were questionable, maybe they weren't. I, in my completely and utterly unbiased :onfloor: opinion, feel they never had possession so they can't be down but that debate has already taken its course. The point is you can't put ours down and flaunt theirs. For the record I think their win against Baltimore was very impressive and I'm not trying to take anything from them.

Could come down to turnovers. Like one of the fans from the forum was saying. If they do what they've been doing, which is "not turn the ball over." Well, we've been getting alot of turnovers. Our D has alot of ball hawks.
Keep hitting Matt Ryan!

I think the biggest difference in this game will be that Rodgers is now clicking with his receivers and Atlanta has problems with pass defense. This is the one area where there is a little seperation in the two teams.

I also feel like if Atlanta had a hard time getting in the endzone against the Rams it will be even harder against us. We are very good at holding teams to FG's in the redzone.

I think looking for that elusive "complete game" against us is asking alot.

I thought the "homer" award goes to the guy pointing out wins against the 'Boys and Vikes but failing to mention the shutout against the Jets in what has to be the best defensive effort by any team all year.

Overall, they express concern and show respect basically the same we give to them. It should be a heck of a game. If we play the way we have been we will win but that's a hard standard to hold with the level of play recently so high.

Two good, fairly evenly matched teams.

Passing game - Packers
Run game - Falcons

Pass Defense - Packers
Run Defense - Falcons

Special Team - Pick 'Em
Coaching - Packers

It will come down to turnovers and penalties - and I give us the advantage in both categories.

Packers 34, Falcons 27

Their secondary is solid. Woodson is a stud but, again, outside of him nothing really sticks out. Collins is somewhat of a ballhawk but he's no Ed Reed or Troy P.

I liked this quote. He's damn right Tramon Williams doesn't stand out, that's because no one is throwing at him. Oh yeah, apart from Favre on Sunday.

Tramon will have to bring his A-game as I can see him matched up on Roddy White who is playing at an All Pro level just now.

But with our crunching run D, if we can shut down Turner (not easy) and make them one dimensional we will give ourselves a good shot.

Sounds like it could come down to an aerial shootout.

I just wish we could bring more pressure from the OLB spot opposite CM3.
