A big thank you goes out to Uncle Ted for trading in our old rust bucket for a new Cadillac to enjoy for the next decade. I hope the Favrebillies finally realize that Packer management made the right choice even if we had to eat a shitburger last year. Come on back Favre fans and enjoy the new and improved Packers. You're welcome and you won't be disappointed.

I was listening to Michaels OT show, and probably half the calls were worshiping Ted. It takes some stones to cut Harris and Burt, but it shows he knows what's best for the long-term future of the team and is willing to make the appropriate moves.

I know he won't, but I'm really pulling for Burt to quit/be benched after this game...what poetic justice for all the BS he's pulled the last 5 offseasons...to wimper out the door with his pride squashed by the team who's face he tried to spit in! That would be the cherry on top of the HUGE sundae from today!

TT's biggest compliment is that we lost 6 starters for the year and we're 7-3, and the ONLY team in the NFL that is +100. Freaking amazing.

Whoa... Dj vu I lashed out big time on the whole "burt" stupidity and later apologized. I knew this post was coming when I opened the thread, I was expecting to read my response that I had typed already.

Dj vu sucks.

Instead of capping on Favre, we should really be giving credit to Dom Capers and the D players. Look, put ANY QB in his shoes. The first five times you go back to pass, you get hit. How many times was he hit that game? He was hit all day long. Of course he's going to be off.

Kudos to Capers. We got through their OL and put Favre on his back all game long. That's how you win games, folks. Put the opposing QB on his back.

Welll.......it was fun to watch the Vikings THINK they had a chance, only to get kicked all over the "Humpty Dump!"

I was watching the game at the Orange Moose Bar in River Falls with about 20 fellow packer fans...

It's just great when instead of cheering for packer success/vikings self-implosion that everyone collectively laughs! The penalty on the longwell fg penalty and subsequent reaction in the bar was priceless!

Short of winning a super bowl, today was the best I will ever feel during/after a packer victory!

I doubt Chilly gets canned.
You can't get a contract extension for having a great season one year and get fired half way through the next.
They would have to pay his salary plus the new coach too. When you consider the team doesn't even know if they are in MN after next year, if they are getting a new stadium, what their revenue base will be, who their QB will be next year, they will keep Chillers until some time next year.

And yet there were a number of people on this very board who ridiculed that notion when it was pointed out that the secret to defeating the Vikings is not shutting down Adrian Peterson but rather limiting the effectiveness of Brett Favre.

The irony is that as more DCs take note of this trend, Peterson's statistics may actually improve, but the Vikings' winning percentage probably will not.
