Hey Brett.

It is time for Aaron and the other young lions on the packers to shine.
Take the last two whoopings by Aaron to stay retired this time. At least it will help keep your dirty laundry out and show people who you truly are.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out of the league.

Two questions come to mind from this game:
1. Is Childress still HC next week?
2. Does Favre start the rest of the games this season?

I'm going to say no to 1, and yes to 2. They are dependent upon each other. If Chilly stays, he will sit Favre in a last ditch effort to prove that the losses are not his fault. If he doesn't stay, which he won't, the interim will not have the baby-makers to sit Favre.

This game.....it was.....it was just SO DAMNED FUN TO WATCH!!!!! There was literally nothing that could have gone better. The 8 yard first quarter almost made it even better, because it seemed like a bigger fall for the Vikings, that way. We were winning almost every aspect of the game. We gave them a few fair kick returns, and AP had a few decent runs, but all in all, we kicked the shit out of them. I honest to God thought it was going to be another close game, because it seems like the Vikings/Packers games--excuse me, the PACKERS/VIKINGS games--always are. This game was different though. As good as Favre played in the two games last year, he played that bad in the two games this year, if not worse. I didn't see what his final rating was, but from his two games this year against us, he had 52 and (predictably) sub-50.

Unbelievable. Could not have asked for a better performance from the Packers.

It was a fantastic game to watch; many pleasurable things happened during the course of it.

1) Nice to see Driver get a couple of Catches after a couple games without - hopefully he can get back to some of his better form

2) AJ Hawk - Is playing the best football of his career, too bad that this is probably the last season as a Packer, barring some serious lowering of salary.

3) Tramon Williams - Is looking every bit the Pro Bowl cornerback. I LOVED the way he attacked the ball on the interception.

4) Charles Woodson - Who said he was finished? Yeah. He isn't a cornerback. He is a defender.

5) Greg Jennings - Career day? The Vikings secondary was shockingly bad but that doesn't take away the fact that God had a great game and made some tough catches (3rd TD)

6) Aaron Rodgers - Has come back from a shaky early season to have a spectacular recent run. Long may it continue!

7) Tim Masthay - Still inconsistent, but is a definate improvement over Frost/Kapinos

8) Penalties - SWEEEEEEEET

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

On a seperate note, I like Aaron Rodgers holding onto the ball when he is in the pocket and has no one to throw to. He took sacks which are never nice BUT he never turned it over. A turnover could have changed the entire dynamic of that game, especially at 0-3/3-3

The look on his face really said it all today. It was fantastic to see him and Bevell attack each other on the sidelines, and then the vikings defense seemed to start to attack each other. That team was already in disarray we just pushed them farther down.

Supposedly Ziggy Wilf was scowling after the game and refused to speak. I wouldn't be surprised if they can Chilly this week.

Welll.......it was fun to watch the Vikings THINK they had a chance, only to get kicked all over the "Humpty Dump!"

This needed to happen, after Favre went all ninja on us in those two games last year.

I think Chilly will get fired, but Favre will still start the rest of the season. Nobody wants to be the one to end The Streak, and Favre will not end it himself. He will drag his ass out there six more times. It's going to be tough to watch--for Vikings fans.

I heard that they are gonna exchange the Viking "horn" that they blow after a good play, for a giant "Kazoo"! LOL!

Bet they really appreciated that, hey? LOL!

"Jarhead" Allen was talking after the game, how they need to start playing better. He was calling out other guys on their team, but didn't name names.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
