The Packers also have three players who have to come off PUP by Monday: Harris (knee), Bigby (ankle) and halfback James Starks (hamstring). Harris and Bigby have been working regularly with the starters in practice the past 2 weeks, so the Packers figure to activate at least one of them for Sundays game. They have a roster spot open after cutting defensive end Michael Montgomery on Tuesday, and McCarthy said he will wait until Saturday to make that move.
If McCarthy activates only one, the other presumably will be activated by the Monday deadline. Starks, though, hasnt played in a game since his junior year at the University of Buffalo and could be headed for injured reserve.
