Could be a formitable goal line D with Raji, Green and Pickett!

What about Jenkins? Or Wilson. Or Wynn.. suddenly we may have pieced together a decent rotation again.

Yes, this is good to see, let's hope it continues to develop. I was referring to "beef" on the goal line ... over half a ton!
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

The good news is TJ Lang can now concentrate on being the rotational OL that he truly is. Getting Green was very lucky, just like the year we landed Gravy Jackson.

Yeah, it is going to be nice to have Green, Pickett and Raji in short yardage situations, rather than T.J. Lang.

I love this Capers quote.

We kind of like big guys," Capers said. "I know this: A couple of weeks ago when you looked at us from behind, those rear ends weren't quite as wide as they were out there yesterday. Those linebackers like those wide rear ends because they use up more blocks."

Our 3 man DL can pack 1000 pounds of beef. Talk about a buising run D.

The thought of having the 360/375-pound Green at one end position, the 340/350-pound Ryan Pickett at another end position and the 340/350-pound B.J. Raji in the middle allows Capers to feel much better about his run defense. If some team wants to line it up and run it against the Packers, he's got the beef to make them reconsider.

Howard Green looked less obese to me than, say, Gilbert Brown.

So does pretty much the rest of the world.

We got a little beef up in there when Pickett comes back. Not a bad short yardage package with Raji, Pickett, and Green. I'd like to see an O line move that group back.

Granted, but I thought Gilbert Brown weighed about 375 lbs. So if they really are about the same weight, I'd have to say Green carries it better, because I wouldn't have guessed he was so massive.
