OIn 2007 our front 7 couldn't stop the run, guess what, DBs get more tackles then. The drop in tackles to 2009 is a direct result of a much improved front 7 that actually did their job.

You want to debate heart and intensity, that's nothing but pissing in the wind. The truth of the matter is that in 2009 he was more than a non-factor.

Fine. Intensity aside, he gave up more yardage in 2009, which may be why Ted Thompson drafted a replacement. He was a solid player last year, but had little impact on defense other than filling the position.

All the Sparks excitement and desperation for a running game, IMO, has raised our expectations for him way too high. He could have a great rookie season, while simultaneously not living up to all the hype created by fans and coaching staff.

Not really i haven't seen much excitement for him other than people wanting to see what he's got as well as I do.I don't think he'll come in right away and contribute but he has some POT.Problem is he could be the next Justin Harrell Knocking on wood for that one.

Edit:Another thing could lie a problem for him is he will be the 4th String RB unless we get rid of nance for him.He won't be active on gameday unless they give him a couple carries and see what he has and if he doesn't take those opportunitys on those carries he won't see the field at all and i hope he sees the field i see a lot in this kid.All the draft picks have POT the only guy I don't see working out is maybe Newhouse but idk.

I doubt we're going to see much of sparks. He missed all his sr. year at buffalo, and now half of this season. I'm guessing the team will use the next 3 weeks to assess him and then put him back on IR.
