hahaha. some of you are like my latest ex, always wanted things both ways. well, sometimes you just can't have it! we are a very lucky team, regardless of our running game.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Did the running game WOW anyone, certainly not, but I felt with all the split carries, it sufficed. Would I like more yards or yards per carry, of course...I just don't see it at the moment.

Football is a very reactive game. Things happen. You make adjustments. Then hopefully the adjustments work.

Watch. When we start putting up 350 yards in the air and 3+ TD passes a game, the RBs will practically be able to walk for 100 yards.

That's how it was for the Saints last year. I don't think any of the 3 of them really "wowed" me. They were decent RBs, and that's it.

But DCs put 90% of their effort into stopping Brees.

Same thing will happen with us. Aaron will light up opposing Ds. DCs will say "we need to figure out how to stop Aaron Rodgers."

I'm really not worried about the running game. Get the passing game going and Jackson/Kuhn/Nance will be able to walk for 100 yards a game. (Not literally of course, but you know what I mean).

A day after melting down, screaming at fans and "accidentally" throwing his helmet 10 rows back into the stands, Jacobs asks for a trade. Talk about poor timing...

If we wind up trading for an ass-clown, at least get us one that's talented...

Arod said the running game was fine to him.He said that the run set up the pass very well. Not a big day for our running game but it worked.

It was very kind of Aaron to say that, but the running game worked only in the sense that the defense was forced to consider the possibility of a handoff on most plays. It will need to get better.

I find it funny that some of us were calling for Jackson to start over Grant last season...I was not one of these people.

Jackson looked just the way Grant usually looks, before week 10.
That said, he was playing tentative, as was Arodge. With more carries, he should get into the zone.
So, did Kuhn look better, because Bulaga was in the game, or because he IS better? I would say that Kuhn did NOT look tentative. He is a bit of a plodder, but he doesn't pause to decide. He hits the hole.
