What are you talking about? Blasting his coach? Nothing of the sort happened. There was no "blasting" as you put it, not even on the sideline. Not sure what you were watching. He explained what happened and explained it was a discussion between he and Childress that got blown out of proportion.

I'm not saying Childress was right to try and yank Favre, I think he should have stayed in the game. It's the COMMENTS from Brett that are the issue.


Certain things should stay 'in house' and with Brett, everything gets aired out. That's good for the media, not everyone else.


By all means, root for Brett, pull for his team, etc, just don't come here, to this website and be ignorant to the obvious with your lack of objectivity. I have a hard time believing I'm the only one who can admire him, yet also notice his wrong doing's as well.

Your problem is all the great thing's he's done, you feel he deserves a pass on everything else therefore your objective perception is nil.

Some of these posts are funny to me. Who cares whose telling the truth on what happened. I believe Brett Favre should have stayed in, they needed to get some kind of chemistry going down the stretch before the play offs started, and with Brett Favre staying in for the Bears game, they did that, and then having a blow out with the Giants will help to. The Giants game Brett Favre was pulled out in the 4rth quarter and he was fine with that. I think this was all blown out of proportion.

I do like that the Vikings pounded their opponent. I don't like it when teams back off or play it soft. Play to win, that's what they did.


My question is this. How can any mature adult be okay with what Brett said after refusing to be yanked out of a game? Whether he's right or not, blasting his coach in public in the manner he did is disrespectful and only gave more credence to the stereo type of him being egocentric and thinking he is bigger than the HC, the team and the game.




The sad part? Some idiots fall for it to this very day. Face it Favre'ites, since Big Irv passed, Favre has changed and for the worse. I won't wait for your reply because I know it won't come with any objectivity as shown by posts from ya all in the past.

Well, Heather, I'm glad to see you back here again. I've always enjoyed reading your posts back from that site that should not be mentioned. I don't know if you remember but when we were doing the interviews there, it was you who I wanted to follow me when I was done with mine.

I may be a minority here but as much as I hate Peyton Manning, I think they should have gone for 16-0. I also think that unless Favre commits to another year, he should have been pulled earlier to get Tarvaris some playing time. If he had committed to another year, then keep him in and let Favre go for the #1 TDs. He was #2 by one whopping TD.

I also think we should have let Aaron go for Dickey's yards record and had we kept Aaron in there, I would have been right in my prediction about 2 shutouts this year. :(

I also agree with you on the Colts, they were having a perfect season, let that team finish that way, that would have been way cool. It also gave other teams some hope when they lost those games, some of them wouldnt have been in the playoffs.

Don't ever say I am ignorant, I have lived a long time and hopefully more years to come, but thats in gods hands. I will say if BF has done wrong always have, but it is just my viewpoint. I have gotten into trouble many times by opening my mouth where I shouldnt have, but I am only honest and if being honest is wrong then so be it. In the very beginning I said it was both their faults the Packers and BF's for the whole retiring fiasco and what went down in Green Bay, every story has two sides. BF had a good season with the Jets other then when his arm starting hurting down the stretch he started playing horribly. Now this season he is playing awesome, yes he has had some bad games as well. So there, I guess BF isnt god ha?? I will also say this again, it takes a "whole" team to win games not just the QB.

I dont believe he should get a pass on everything hes done, I will say the good with the bad. But I do think things get blown out of proportion when they need not to be. Again if I was asked a question I would answer it honestly and if that got me into trouble then so what. I guess I dont get mad to easily.

I also know this is a Packer site, then if I cannot speak on BF he shouldnt be mentioned here, or if I only speak the good I cannot speak at all?
