Some of these posts are funny to me. Who cares whose telling the truth on what happened. I believe Brett Favre should have stayed in, they needed to get some kind of chemistry going down the stretch before the play offs started, and with Brett Favre staying in for the Bears game, they did that, and then having a blow out with the Giants will help to. The Giants game Brett Favre was pulled out in the 4rth quarter and he was fine with that. I think this was all blown out of proportion.

What I find funny, is your allegiance to ONE player no matter what he does, he's GOD. Now that is funny right there! Har, Har, HAR!

You're going to use the Giants game in your argument? Really? Game well in hand and he's still in the game and you're okay with that?

At least you're consistently kissing his ass no matter what he does.

(btw, the backup qb came in with only FIVE minutes left in the game, a game that was 44 - 0 against a team that everyone knew stayed in the hotel room)

I do like that the Vikings pounded their opponent. I don't like it when teams back off or play it soft. Play to win, that's what they did.

My question is this. How can any mature adult be okay with what Brett said after refusing to be yanked out of a game? Whether he's right or not, blasting his coach in public in the manner he did is disrespectful and only gave more credence to the stereo type of him being egocentric and thinking he is bigger than the HC, the team and the game.

The sad part? Some idiots fall for it to this very day. Face it Favre'ites, since Big Irv passed, Favre has changed and for the worse. I won't wait for your reply because I know it won't come with any objectivity as shown by posts from ya all in the past.

[Hey, that was my first Favre rant of the new year! woohoo] ;)

That was very rude zero, "wont come with any objectiivity as shown by posts from ya?" Maybe I am taking it wrong. You can feel how you want and I will feel how I want. Boy I am sure glad I started posting again today at this site. And me kissing his ass, I dont kiss anyones ass thank you very much. But I am a respectful person, and I wont try to explain what I meant. At least people can be nice and considerate.

Not to worry, Heather.

That wasn't really Zero ... he let Achmed have the keyboard again. 🙂
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

lol Achmed!

It was me and I'm just fed up with the blind hate and blind love for Favre. It seems to be everything he does is GOLD, or everything he does makes him TRASH. I don't feel he's anywhere near the God status some put him, nor do I feel is anywhere near as bad as so many make him out to be.

I don't fault him for coming back.
I don't fault him for going to the Vikings, they after all were the only team knocking on his door and provided him with the best chance. What other team would he fit better on? None. Vikings give him a dome and great RB, what more could you ask for? Oh, I know, an offense he knows better than the coaches.
I do fault him for his comments and publicly throwing his coach on the bus.

He's not perfect and he's not the devil either. I've fought a losing battle on this for a very long time now.

Heather, I'd be less rude if I found you engaging in other discussions other than Brett crotch sniffing posts. Which is my failure because I need to understand, get it through my head, you're not a Packers fan, you're only a Brett Favre fan. And this is a Packers website, not a Brett Favre website. Not saying you're not welcome here, just saying, when I jump the 'rude' train, that is part why.

What are you talking about? Blasting his coach? Nothing of the sort happened. There was no "blasting" as you put it, not even on the sideline. Not sure what you were watching. He explained what happened and explained it was a discussion between he and Childress that got blown out of proportion. You attack other for kissing his ass but yet you take every opportunity to point and say he did something wrong. It's bad that he said this. It's bad that he celebrated too much after the TD against the packers. It's bad that he stayed in the game. It's bad that he doesnt blow his nose the way you like.

Attack heather for doing nothing but saying she thinks it's a good thing for Favre to stay in the game and build some chemistry. She's "consistently kissing his ass" based on that post?

I'm sorry Zero. Your first Favre rant of the year was a BIG FAIL.

Lol, try again sucka

Well, Heather, I'm glad to see you back here again. I've always enjoyed reading your posts back from that site that should not be mentioned. I don't know if you remember but when we were doing the interviews there, it was you who I wanted to follow me when I was done with mine.

I may be a minority here but as much as I hate Peyton Manning, I think they should have gone for 16-0. I also think that unless Favre commits to another year, he should have been pulled earlier to get Tarvaris some playing time. If he had committed to another year, then keep him in and let Favre go for the #1 TDs. He was #2 by one whopping TD.

I also think we should have let Aaron go for Dickey's yards record and had we kept Aaron in there, I would have been right in my prediction about 2 shutouts this year. 😞
