To say he has proved me wrong would be the understatement of the year. (yeah, its a new year, but you know what I mean) While I wasn't the only one calling for his head, I was the loudest. And now its time to eat crow.

Things were not looking good after the Tampa game. Penalties were adding up at a record pace, the offensive line was a mess, the Vikings had swept us, and we had just lost to one of the worst teams in the NFL.

Since then, the Packers are 7-1. As I have always said, the buck stops with MM. He is responsible for what happens on the field. And what has happened this year is the Packers have rebounded, and are now one of the best teams in the NFL. Mike McCarthy deserves credit for that.

Another thing for which he deserves credit, is that the players never questioned him, and did not point fingers.

To make a long story short, I was wrong, I am glad I was wrong, and GO PACK GO!

It happens, but no worries, you weren't the loudest and there were many who were on board.

I don't understand how we can give up 37 sacks in eight games, then in the last 8 only 14 was it?

I was down with the 8 - 8 year, the 13 - 3 year and tried to understand the 6 - 10 year.

I did say if we won twice as many games as we lost, plus a playoff win, I'd be back on board. I'll gladly jump back on board the Mike McCarthy train in 7 days if we're still playing.

I couldn't agree more. I've been wrong an awful lot this year, and I like it.

Pre Draft, my dumbass said 7 - 9 and add one win with my homer pick of a win over the Steelers. I also said I didn't expect much from the defense at that time too. I can't honestly say that changed after the draft, although I was excited about the Raji selection and intrigued that we moved up to pick a player in the 1st round.

Sweet post Iron. Can't argue much with a top ten offense and defense, and if you do, you should have to sit in a room of Cleveland Brown fans explaining what you are whining about.

Isn't it time Uncle Ted got a little love for this young, talented team he has built as well. I know there is still work to do, but we are loaded with talent. Talk about a guy that has taken unwarranted shit from people just because he had the balls to take on Lord Favre and do what was best for the Green Bay Packers.

Yes, it is time for some Ted love. He is building/has built this team well and has the guts most GMs don't have. Thank you Ted for Clay Matthews! Brad Jones is looking very good and he was a 7th-rounder. Hats off to McCarthy for his coaching. He deserves credit for turning the team's season from mediocre to very good and potentially great.

I'm proud of the Green Bay Packers players and Mike McCarthy and his coaching staff for being able to turn this season around after the Tampa Bay debacle.

Sometimes it's good to be wrong. This is even better than being wrong about saying "that hot chick will never sleep with me." :thumbright:
