I did all my shopping in Appleton, that counts as metropolis to me, lol.

I'm on my side on this.

Green Bay is a good place to be and live. If you don't like it, I say fuck you and fuck off.

ok, good. believe me i've heard similar things from country bumpkins growing up. calling me "city boy" and i'd be like "uh, yeah. no."

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

hehe. I grew up in a town of 600. My farmer-kid friends called me a "city slicker."

I will say this.. I have lived for one to three months in the following cities.. While working for an employer.. granted I never got overly comfortable in any of them before moving to the next.. I can say this.. they all offer something unique and no matter what you can find something worthwhile to do. This is the early 90's... so take that into account.

Iowa City
Albuquerque, NM
Corpus Christie, TX
Biloxi, MS
Columbia, SC
Milwaukee, WI
Chicago, IL
Omaha, NE
La Crosse, WI
Denver, Co

And I will say this... Green Bay stacks up just fine for a hick like me.

ok, but the argument here is that bigger cities are generally more progressive and have a nightlife geared at giving single people, young couples and social people things to go out and do.

places like green bay and appleton are geared for family style living.

it's just not really an argument.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Throughout all of the cities I've been to. I've found one thing that was consistent. It wasn't the venue that made it interesting, it was whom I was with that did.
