Total Packers not impressed

Where the heck did all the grudge holders go?

Maybe the GBP fanbase burned through their collective quota or something.

I kind of got a kick out of the comments (in the link) also.

He did look good with the Saint's, but any self-respecting GBP thread simply must include the old dirt on him, imo.

I think his hold out was 46 days, he was supposedly coming back to the team, and then demanded a trade...Something like that...

=

asshole.

:thumbleft: For old time's sake, Mike... I'm in it for the long haul, you m$therf$cker :thumbleft:

I'd rather have Bush out there than him. That PROVES I cannot stand the s.o.b.

(Actually, if given the choice, I'd rather have a cardboard cut-out or a fathead  or something over either of 'em, lol)

I would rather have had McAlister if he would have been available.. he is more our style of physical corner.. although McKenzie isn't a push over.

Saints nabbed both of them.. the bastids anyway.

But I have faith in Woodson and Williams.. and I think we have enough after than to play adequately.. albeit another tested veteran would make m feel more comfortable.

Well Josh Bell did start 6 games for Denver last year when Champ got injured so he's got at least SOME experience.

If i remember correctly didn't Mckenzie pretty much holdout so he would be traded? I haven't looked it up but i thought he wanted out of GB when he was here. So why would he want to come back now?
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Entirely different team? Different management? Didn't he hold out for financial reasons, alone?

Maybe he didn't want to come back to GB, I think we'll never know, but I can imagine that you'd prefer a starting spot on a 11-0 team better than a nickel spot on a 7-4 team.

Especially if you've played with that 11-0 for the last coule of years.

M McKenzie did his impression of T.O. before T. O.
I agree with dfoster(could be the first time ever  ), on this one.

Pretty much forced MS to draft Carrol and Joey ? somebody the first two rounds of the draft and we all know how that turned out.

He did look good Monday night, don't know how long he will hold up, I still wish him good luck, even though he did screw over The Packers.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

McKenzie didn't start his problems until after the '04 draft. Reggie McKenzie (sp) believed he would show up when the paychecks starting coming in. And we traded Vinson for Ahman Green I believe.

I think we drafted Carroll because Edwards and Thomas sucked. I thought Thomas was going to be a keeper for us. I was very wrong there.

I recall McKenzie saying the Packers would never win with Sherman. He REALLY didn't like Sherman.

First this management couldn't get Randy Moss, then this summer they failed on Haynesworth and Canty (and look how crappy the line is) and now McKenzie... these guys are never going to get anything right they should be fired immediately over this!!

He never left New Orleans. He would have been a nickel here and had a chance to start there.

Not management's fault on this one. It would have been great to get him here to keep Bush off the field.

Hmmm did he not just re-sign with them last week? here

Pretty sure he left there if he was resigned and had worked out for Seattle.

yeah, how can you call this a management whiff? The guy was in a Tauscher-like situation. Does anybody really feel like he would rather play anywhere than New Orleans this year? Hell, I bet there are a number of guys in our locker room, and all the other 29 locker rooms around the league, who wish they were playing for New Orleans this year.

"bozz_2006" wrote:

Good point, but there are a lot of "ifs" the management could have done other things. ie more money, sooner interest, and other contractual things Mike wanted.

How is it not a whiff? If they had any opprotunity to replace a huge necessity for our D? You think we will be fine with Bush as our 3rd CB?
