I still don't understand how the hell you all got so confident. Before the season started you were all saying superbowl, then we got 4 weeks in and everyone was panicking. Now since then all that has happened is a bye week and bam you are all talking like our team hasn't played like garbage all season and that we should have no problem going 7-0.

?????????

first off - dont count me in the bunch that started vasilating after the cinci game.

Or even in the bunch that picked the viks to win over the pack.

Was a nice uplifting article ...

Everyone wasn't panicking after 4 weeks. To say everyone was panicking means all 671 members of this site. There are 12 teams that are worse off than the Packers right now, lighten up dude. The article brings out the light of some of the crap going on with the Packers right now.

What you see Packers fans on this site doing is flipping out after we lose games we should win because again, we expect nothing but great from a team such as the Packers. Anything sub-par will not fly.

Sub-par right now = the team shooting themselves in the foot. Packers are not getting blown out by teams. They are barely losing and its because of their own damn stupid mistakes, that shouldn't be made constantly at the professional level.

The next 7 games can be won, if the Packers play sound football. Opponents like the Lions and Browns should be eye openers for the Packers. Don't even give these teams a chance to succeed.
Minnesota is the biggest threat in the next 7 games and we will see how they come out of their games against Baltimore and Pittsburgh.
Hopefully beat to crap if I had it my way.

Some of us didn't call it a season after four games....only certain members did and it wasn't a majority.

Because some fans are tired of seeing the same old mistakes, the same coaching blunders, the same old results from last year, they are pannicking.

As others have said, it is not panick, it is probably just a little frustration on the fans part because they know this team IS BETTER than how they have been playing.

What if THE LOWLY Lions beat The Packers Sunday? Still won't be panick, you will just hear from Packer fans who will be just plain old pissed off.

I don't know anyone who has written The Packers off after 4 games, I do know a lot of fans who won't take much more of the crap that has been played out the first four weeks.

Clifton and Tauscher back will help, I am more interested in seeing just how this team comes out, see if they are ready to play ball.

I say we win our next two and the Vikes lose their next two and we are 1/2 game out when the Vikes roll into town.

Please Brett don't get hurt. I want to see the Green Bay Packers kick your ass in Lambeau.
Then voila, the Green Bay Packers are in 1st place in the NFC North.

Simple as that!!!

I, for one, think the Packers are going to win the Super Bowl every year. Not that they will, but they start the season 0-0 just like every other team in the league. With an even start, we all have the same chance to go through to the big show. However, having lived through the 4-12 years, I've also developed a self-protecting cynicism for when they fail to live up to those high expectations.

In other words, I'm always optimistic about our chances but hate to be wrong so I become pessimistic as they lose more games. As the season nears January, I start becoming more and more optimistic....either because we are progressing through the playoffs or because "there is always next year."

I'm probably not alone in this.

Heh. I wrote a thread earlier about us being not that bad. Our 2 losses were to 2 good teams. I'm too lazy to look it up, but weren't they 4-1 and 5-0 teams?

Yep, combined record is 9-1 - and that 1 is due to the super flukey pass play @ the end of the game. Otherwise Cincy would also be undefeated at this point.

We could see some very good things from this team in the next few weeks. Lets home Baltimore and Pittsburgh takes control of Minnesota in the next couple of weeks and help us out.

I haven't begun to write them ON yet much less off. We're 2-2. Its like being 0-0 with a 12 game season that hasn't yet begun!

Write 'em OFF? Bahhh!

Mucky Tundra (2h) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (3h) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (3h) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (3h) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.

Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in

beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent

Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I would imagine Dallas will resolve this issue with a truckload of money
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : Micah pulling a Myles with trade request
