Heh. I wrote a thread earlier about us being not that bad. Our 2 losses were to 2 good teams. I'm too lazy to look it up, but weren't they 4-1 and 5-0 teams?

Yep, combined record is 9-1 - and that 1 is due to the super flukey pass play @ the end of the game. Otherwise Cincy would also be undefeated at this point.

Thanks. I didn't know about how they lost.

Write 'em off?

I haven't begun to write them ON yet much less off. We're 2-2. Its like being 0-0 with a 12 game season that hasn't yet begun!

Write 'em OFF? Bahhh!

Exactly.

And the teams that we beat are the Bears who where totally out of form and the Rams who might just be the worst team in the league right now.

I'm all for optimism, but I think that that O-line has to have made leaps with Clifton and Tauscher and that our defense should suddenly click together. Maybe Bigby will be sort of a sparkplug.

I'm hopefull, but not confident that we'll finish strong.

these next tow games for us should tell us if we are ready to take over the division.

So far the team has lost 1 game I didn't figure they would. The rest goes as planned and they end up in the playoffs where anything is possible.

As things stand, I still think we should beat. Det,Cle,MN,TB,Det,Sea

That leaves Dal,SF,Bal,Chi,Pit,Ari 2 wins out of them and we make 10 wins. I can see that.

I already said we'd split with the Vikings this season. I also think we sweep da Bears.

I can see us with 10 wins. We're a 9-7 or 10-6 team right now. Methinks the fate of this team is on the OL, not the D.

ok im so tired of this crap lol, why is it posters are saying oh in the next 7 games we will win them all or win 6. Have you been watching the damn games at all? We get Bigby back i say its an upgrade from Martin but he will be burnt and get his usual Personal foul flags on him, then we get back an O-lineman that noone else wanted but all of a sudden we are going to have a great line WTF are you people smoking? Oh and then talking about Minny have to play Baltimore and Pittsburgh and we should be able to win the division in the next 7 games but yet these same people forget to look at the schedule and realize we could very easily lose the last 5 games of the season. But its ok if we beat Detroit on Sunday all of a sudden people will say we are super bowl contenders again on this site. But what is going to happen if the Lions beat us? Remember the Lions played actually better than the Steelers last week and for some stupid mistakes they would have won. I expect a very close game on sunday between the 2 teams.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Probably because the most of us don't have a constant dark cloud of gloom floating over us. Question is have you been watching. Yes we have had trouble. Yet in both loses, have been in the game. We have moved the ball. We have scored points. Getting Clifton back helps, Adding Tauscher helps. You may not like to admit, but Tauscher not being signed had as much to do with ability as not keeping Favre. He was brought back at the planned time his injury needed to heal. Bigby helps.

It is the opposite of last year. The injuries piling up last year, overwhelmed the depth. Right now we are getting the depth back. Never understand how somebody can claim to be a fan and not be able to look at the bright side or survive in the world, with that cloud following.

By the way, you need a hair cut.

People were 'writing off' the Packers? Why? It's not even the middle of the season and we don't have a losing record. lol. Yikes.

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.
beast (24-Jan) : Either the Cowboys have no idea what they're doing, or they're targeting their former OC, currently the Eagles OC
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Fake news. Cowboys say no
Zero2Cool (23-Jan) : Mystery candidate in the Cowboys head coaching search believed to be Packers ST Coordinator Rich Bisaccia.
beast (23-Jan) : Also why do both NYC teams have absolutely horrible OL for over a decade?
beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
