You said "maybe", I was much more definitive. šŸ™‚ (my source was right, but this was fairly obvious since even LTF was predicting it, muwhahaha) lol

exactly. Tauch was signed today, and you started a thread confirming it. Good job.

Question to Zero, do you ever get sick of this wanna - be moderator trying to tell you how to run your website. I suggest you just ban his silly ass.

As to someone else's comment. I would hope Tauscher is ready enough to start, but since they still have Barnett on a snap count, I doubt Tauscher will even play.

I don't think he'll be active against the Lions, but judging by the Packers next few opponents the Lions and the Browns, Tauscher has three weeks to try and prove he's ready for the Vikings - where he may actually be needed.

Packers finally bring back Tauscher
Posted by Mike Florio on October 12, 2009 11:21 AM ET
As expected, the Green Bay Packers have renewed acquaintances with tackle Mark Tauscher.

And though the move was expected last week, the Packers wisely waited until the day after their bye, which allowed them to not pay him for a week of no football.

I was guessing that's what would happen so they wouldn't have to pay him for that week. I think Pack93z was thinking they get 16 checks, but I believe it's 17. Either way, I think they get paid during the BYE and I didn't think they'd pay Mark for doing nothing, since they weren't practicing or anything. Signing him today just made sense.

Yeah that is what I "heard" but I think it just stupid...at least he is here and he can start to add insight.

I wonder how much having a guy like him in there really helps the younger guys?

hes got to compete with barbre (however spelled)
for the spot - its not just sign and hes in to play;

Im still not convinced this is going to help that much - ya getting clifton back at LT will be good. But remember we had a large amount of sacks last year also.

Hey I didn't have to fix a quote box, yay. :P

I think having our THIRD TRUE Tackle will help out a lot.
