I doubt that Tauscher is in shape at all, but I wouldn't mind bringing him in and trying to get him ready to at least be a backup. I don't want Lang to have to move out to tackle and then Dietrich Smith being a guard again. That messes up our whole OLine. I'd rather one position be messed up than two.

Do any of you in favor of bringing back Tauscher actually recall how ineffective he was playing? I would say bring him in only as a final result.

I don't understand why McCarthey insist on going empty with 4 and 5 wides when Newhouse goes up agains a speed rusher. Hali should have probably had a few more sacks or at least some holding calls.

We may end up seeing some double tight end sets with Crabtree and Taylor helping on the edge.

Even more puzzling was after Lang was moved to RT and D-S to LG, McCarthy went empty backfield.

I don't care if you have just 3 receivers running routes against dime coverage. Make sure Rodgers stays standing.

By far, McCarthy's worst game as offensive play caller this season. I hate to question the play-caller because so much can happen between the playing being called in and the play being run... but seriously some better management should have been expected. Screens. No-huddle. Hell, bench Finley and throw DJ Williams in there to send a message. Run the ball more. Have Cobb at RB if Grant is not getting job done.

He's definitely managed games better this season.
