defining rule-book nitpicks be damned; it was a bullshit call.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Where did you see that, Foster? Love watching the NFL Official Review segment on NFL.com. Was it aired on NFL Network recently?

Wow, that I missed that, just two replies above mine. Sorry, Tezzy.

Anyway, like said, he doesn't even discuss the illegal formation call. He just seems so biased. It's either the right call, or there where all kinds of horrible circumstances for the ref. The only time that I couldn't see him come up with anything was with the Hochuli - Broncos - Chargers call.

Why is everyone nit picking over a call, if you want to do that look how many times our CBs get away with the illegal contact during a game. They are known to be the most physical CB's in the NFL. Just let it go we won the damn game 😛
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

That's not enough DAMMIT DHAZER!!!!!!!!!

These reffs should be banned from football!!!!

They missed a call against The Packers!!!!!!

They are supposed to be above being human, they are supposed to be perfect!!!!

Winning or losing doesn't matter, it is the ruling of the refs that count!!!!

On a side note, the guy who wrote the article is a complete moron!!!!

YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!!!

Winning tough, close games, overcoming ref mistakes , is only going to help The Packers when it comes to crunch time.

And here is a link to it. Just click on the the link "Official-Review-Week-1", and thank Tezzy :thumbleft: Thanks Tezzy for the link :thumbright:

Mr Pereira says it was a bad call. Says it was contact at 5 yards and was legit.
Official-Review-Week-1

Interesting, he says that the official that has to make the call is 20 yards downfield, I don't get that, how does that guy see where the 5 yards is at definitively? Well, either way, it was a bad call.

We won. So I dont care anymore.

The only reason I still care is because penalties like this can't be challenged, which is an ongoing bone of contention for me.

The problem is that there are all together way too many mistakes in judgement from the refs for the last couple of seasons, and they have been known to affect the result of games. For such a strategic sport, football must be won by the players on the field, not the incorrect judgement call of a man lined up 20 yards away.

,,,and if we want to talk about it, we can, notwithstanding the as usual keen insight from UserPostedImage
and his b.s. sea lamprey side-kick. It is called a discussion forum for a reason, earth-to-if the shoe fits wear it... If you don't like the discussion, then stay out of the damn thing, or give some real reasons why it is not worth talking about in a friggin'

"GREEN BAY PACKERS discussion WEBSITE"

when the whole friggin' league has talked about the very same thing...the very same play.
