Has anyone contacted Seifert to get a retraction? LOL.
Maybe, somehow, through Seifert's ignorance he was attempting to bring a spotlight to the issue of these types of calls. Wait, I'm giving him too much credit.

The whole point is that this thread is about something written by a guy named Seifert. Note the title of the thread that the penalty was fully legitimate.

Now the Vice President of the NFL has publicly admitted that the official made a mistake. The NFL's official position is that it was not legit.

Certainly the truth of the matter should be brought out and not buried on page 4 of the thread saying Al Harris deserved the penalty!

Shouldn't truth triumph over error?

Why should this board's official position be that Al Harris deserved the penalty and the official NFL position is not recognized?

Got it.

(I wonder why California is siding with the Bears, Seifert and the officials?)

Now ain't that a bitch, lol...you deserve this sarcasm, btw--in this instance--try reading before typing, especially when explained to you 50 times

California, if you'd take 10 seconds to do a little reading, you'd understand the original poster's entire point was that SIEFERT MADE HIMSELF LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT FOR SAYING THE CALL WAS LEGIT.

In other words, WE AGREE WITH VICE PRESIDENT OF OFFICIATING PERIERA.

Wow.

Easy Fix..

Seifert was digging for an article and tried to justify something that wasn't there. Simple.

Pereira comes out says it was a mistake.. done deal.. thread renamed properly.

Can we get back to Cincy now?

calls which could cost a game will do that to a fan.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

Not everyone, but those who commented about there being more important things to take from the game, those comments were just BS.

Bungals....bad on offense, surprisingly solid on defense, will not be a pushover. A game Packers should win, must win to be talked about as one of the elite teams in the NFC!!!!

Go Pack!!!!!!! 2-0 much better than 1-1!!!!

The two threads have no association except the mention Al Harris.

This thread was about some blogger's opinion and it is not about the official position of the NFL until the two were given the same value!

What the heck is the point of having thread topics if they can all be put into one Green Bay Packer 09 season thread?

Why would some drunken bums opinion be equal with the person who has authority over the matter?

Why do you put so much credence in the opinion of Sieffert if you claim to not agree with him?

Why is his opinion tied with an announcement by the league office?

Why is a polluted convoluted thread on different topics better than giving one thread its proper respect on Siefferts opinion and one on the NFL's official position?!!!!

The title and the topics are very different.

Why are moderators not using PM's??
