Bummed about Harris, primarily because he went to high school in my hometown and graduated just a year after me.

I hope he lands somewhere and makes a roster.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

They only needed to get down to 75 before Tuesday and they were at 78 going into the game at Arizona.

The big cut down to 53 will come after the Titans game.

Sulak is an intriguing prospect and according to Rob Demovsky might be asked back for the practice squad (though that's not exactly saying much). The guy was drafted, and oddly cut before signing with the Raiders, I guess he had a uphill struggle to make the roster coming in with only a few weeks left of camp, but he might be one for the practice squad.

The Raiders drafted him to play 4-3 DE. With his size that's just not gonna happen... I mean KGB did it but that's because KGB could explode out of his stance. Sulak doesn't explode out of his stance nor does he have the hips to be a 4-3 LB.

Sulak only chances in the NFL are at 3-4 OLB and/or putting on a lot of weight and becoming a 4-3 DE but the guys has had trouble keeping weight on.

I hope we will not use him that much this year because our offense looks great. But, it's good to have a decent or good punter than last year punters you can say.

He's not a lock. Same thing can happen this year as did last year. He should never feel safe.

I hope he doesn't feel safe because if he gets comfortable that the job is his then he may start to suck.

Can't be happier for Kapinos winning the battle of the punters. I liked Kapinos when he came in late last season, with just the way he handled himself, and his overall demeanor. Still can't forget his "have cleats, will punt" statement during one of the locker room interviews then.

There wasn't many who predicted that he win the job, specially early on in camp when we still had 3 punters fighting for the job. He didn't have the best leg, but consistency will win us more games than huge punts and he's been the more consistent. He's also improving on distance/hangtime, and can only get better in time. At least we know he's always gonna be there to punt whenever we need him to, and not sidelined because of some injury or another.

I'm fine with Kapinos, he's a clear upgrade of Frosty McShanks.

Also McCarthy was quote saying he didnt want a repeate of last year's punter situation, so i wouldn't be surprised that kapinos is the starter for good.

I wasn't suggesting that he was a bad player for getting cut by the Raiders, rather pointing out that he had the talent to be drafted in the first place.

Perhaps he'll be asked back for the practice squad - no teams seemed in a rush to pick him up after the Raiders cut him, so hopefully there won't be much competition.
