I would love absolute silence, but know that would never happen. I just hope when they are trying to run their offensive plays, Lambeau is the loudest it's ever been. I hope there are 70,000 people with no voice when that game is over.

I agree 100% with you and what MassPF just said. Maybe I'm a little loony but why would a 'real' packer fan cheer for an opponent, let alone a chief rival, let alone someone who WILLINGLY chose to compete for the arch rival?

Still, he'll be booed out of the stadium because he's a Viking. Packer fans will never boo Packers, but they'll boo the opposing team and they'll definitely boo Minnesota, Chicago, and Detroit.

Having thought about this a little more, I feel the need to explain my "no boo" vote. I'm not a booer. I feel self-conscious about booing. I feel stupid doing it, like people would be looking at me and thinking I'm dumb or something, so you'd find me hard pressed to boo anything. If by "boo" you actually mean "cheer against", yeah I'd "cheer against" Brett. and the rest of the Vikings. So, basically, business as usual.

I for one hope the people that Boo home at the game don't cheer for him when he goes into Canton. I mean if you want to boo and be part of the new obnoxious Packer fan so be it, just a sad day when people forget what drives the fame of the Packers and that is the history. Makes me wonder how many of you people booed Edgar Bennett when he played for the Bears. Like i said its actions and comments like some on here that makes me embarrassed to call myself a Packer fan.

If he gets booed bigtime i sure hope he turns his nose up and says he will never retire his jersey in Green Bay because those fans don't deserve to see it.
