His right to play for the Vikings, my right to boo him for it

While a stunning SILENCE might do his ego some harm, booing while they are trying to run a play might work better

I would probably boo. Silence really would never happen, but I agree that it would be the best course of action.

boy what a laugh, people went on the hate Brett idea when he first was going to the Vikes, then he says hes staying retired and he was loved and once again he goes to the Vikes and the hate starts again.

If you want to be real Packer fans you would cheer him during introductions (after all he wasn't wanted here) and then the rest of the game you would treat him just like any other opposing qb. But i guess if people want to boo him thats their choice but i for one like the feeling of being known as part of the classiest fans in the NFL. But at this rate the days of the great fans are gone and the idiots are now taking over, no wonder we are no longer the best fans in the NFL and other teams are considered ahead of us.

I remember when Lofton came back to play against the Pack and he was cheered during intros and then treated like any other player after that.

But I believe that Brett will be cheered more than booed at introduction time.

I still truly believe(and I have seen the polls)that the fans in the stadium still have enough class to not boo Brett.

The big question is how important will this game be? Hopefully The Players are focused on the old "one game at a time" theory, because if they aren't, The Packers could be looking up at the Vikings in the standings by that time.

I would stand up and cheer when he runs out onto the field, because he is the greatest QB in Packers history. He gave all of us Packers fans the greatest rollercoaster ride of our lives.

Once the opening whistle blows, I would stand and cheer every interception he throws, every time he is sacked and the Packers win.

If he makes it to Nov. 1st, this game will be the Super Bowl that Lambeau would never be able to host. There will be more hoopla and press coverage of that game then there has been for some Super Bowls.

These are indeed exciting times Packers fans, let's just hope he makes it to Nov. 1st

i really don't get the whole "real" packer fans when it comes to a player who isn't on our team anymore. i'm not negating or ignoring what he did for the team but the fact is he's not ON the team anymore. if you want to cheer for him - fine. but if i don't, it should be fine with you too.

Preach it.

We can applaud him when they retire his number, or when he's inducted into Canton. Wearing purple, though? NOT the time for me to show my appreciation for his years here.
