obviously, he wants to go to the Chiefs who are in need of a receiver.

He has made his bed, now he can lie in it

Chiefs would be extremely unlikely, as same division as the Raiders.

Raiders supposedly want a 2nd PLUS additional compensation, but sounds like they would in theory release him to avoid paying him $35 million per year for future years, if they can't trade him.

And Adams will probably have to agree to a pay cut, or taking years off the contract for a trade to happen.

I wonder how the Raiders would react to the Packers offering a 3rd, and working with Adams to knock off future years, maybe a bit of a pay cut, and that way Packers can either franchise tag him, or get a high Comp pick for him leaving in FA. And hopefully Adams can help these young WRs some... take some pressure off Doubs and Reed, let Doubs practice catching.

Basically giving up a 3rd, to get a 3rd or 4th back later (unless we decide to franchise tag Adams and keep him).

Just wondering how the Raiders and Adams would react to such a deal, clearly the Raiders would reject it at first, and demand a 2nd... until maybe getting close to the trade decline and of course would fall apart if someone offers more.

I'm not sure he'd be a good fit for Jets, but that seems to be the hot talk about topic.

Maybe Jets give up 2nd rounder and Hasan Reddick?

Reddick is holding out for more money. Raiders would get another pass rusher, have to pay him, and 2nd round pick to try and "rebuild", I guess.

I love what Tae has done for the Packers but the trade comp and his salary make him undesirable. At fire sale prices including a lower salary would make him worthwhile.

Giving a 4th and paying him $17 mil for the next two years would be acceptable.

Ok I will go a 3rd under these terms.

2) Late round draft pick
3*) (Possibly, but maybe not) QB Gardner Minshew

From Jets
1) 2nd Rounders
2) Mid-Late Rounder (higher than the Raiders late rounder)
3) QB Tyrod Taylor (Raiders need an upgrade at QB, and Tyrod MIGHT start for them, meanwhile the Jets drafted an injured but high potential QB to try to develop for the future, just need to have a backup to get them through this season.
4) WR Mike Williams, a veteran WR that certainly knows the AFC West after 7 years with the Chargers. Currently he's the 3rd WR in yardage, but 5th at all positions in yardage for the Jets, whole he's used to being a starter. As Williams certainly won't want to be #4 WR, and a heck of a lot less in state taxes.

While Rodgers was all in on going to the Jets, Adams is reportedly open to landing with other teams and the Raiders are not focused on the Jets as the only possible destination.

Per the report, the Raiders will make the best available deal for their organization and that they are not close to pulling the trigger on anything at the moment.

beast (6h) : Wow, 95% drop in investment revenue? Would be interesting to hear the details of why...
dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Any plans to hold Maureen Smith (CFO) accountable for a 95% drop in investment revenue?

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career

Zero2Cool (23-Jul) : Suppose if locker room is main issue, we sitting pretty
wpr (23-Jul) : I thought so Mucky. In those useless player polls GB always rates high overall. Locker is a part of it.
