I've heard a lot of people complain the ball was under thrown. (It was) "If only Love hit Watson in stride ..." How realistic is it to expect a QB to hit a receiver in the hands 50 yards down the field?

It's realistic if he can throw it sooner. But as I pointed out in my observation... when I would want him to throw it he was busy (correctly) looking the safety off. He holds the ball long enough for Lions to get someone in his face and that's probably why he couldn't get it deeper.
As I've said in other topics, I'd like for him to make decisions quicker. I think it'll lead to more yards after catch. And also stated why he didn't due to looking the Safety off.
This play is encouraging to me because it was a huge gain and with some timing can be a helluva shot play! It's gonna be great!!
