Do you think Aaron Rodgers is traded before the draft, during the draft or after the draft? 

I'm thinking it's probably going to be during round one, or before round two starts. If it's not, then I'm thinking this could drag out closer to training camp. And you know that is what I want -- solely to watch folks lose their minds.

At this point, I think it happens on the morning of Day 2, or when they get close or to those Jet picks in the 40s.

Something I've noticed is more and more Mock Drafts ( including on NFL.com) have suddenly been giving BOTH the Jets 2nd round picks to the Packers.

Which is odd, because all previous speculation and rumors hinted that it's be one pick from 2023 and one 2024. So I wonder if they're just pulling their out of no where, or if they might know something.


I have wondered if maybe the Packers/Jets might of worked out some deal, that they'll wait until the picks and if they right people fall, one of teams might take both the 2nd rounders this year and repay the other team back in 2024.

So like say if the right people fall, the Packers want both 2nd rounders this year and nothing next year. Or the Jets might keep both and give the Packers their 1st and 2nd next year with no extra conditions on it.

A lot of talk about the 2024 draft going to have better pool of talent than 2023. Maybe the Packers are holding out for better 2024 picks rather than adding to the TEN picks they already have in 2023? Plus, what if Jordan Love sucks it up? Maybe you need to add draft capital to move up to get the next elite QB?

So many angles here.

I obviously don't know when it will happen, but I have thought that it might play out a bit differently than anyone I have read thinks it will happen. What if the Jets and Packers have made a contingency plan for a possible trade back by the Jets at pick 13, with a team yet to be determined, based on what has occurred up until that point? My little theory would go a long way in explaining the silence by both teams...would be foolish to telegraph the intent... The two teams would then re-evaluate the draft pick compensation based on what the Jets secured in the trade-back. From what I have read about this draft, there will be a lot of surprises, so the probability of some other team or teams wanting to move up to 13 seems quite plausible, as does the Jets willing to move out of 13 to retain one of the probable two picks secured in the trade back, as an example, or better yet, the Packers trade back too, and  both GM's create a mumbo-jumbo of trades with each other, confusing all to the point that neither loses their job due to getting fleeced by the other because we can't figure out what the hell just happened. It's a theory 😆
