The following comment was posted on the video I shared above, in response to a question for another commenter asking if Love ever went farther in his progressions than his first read:

Actually, their offense was predicated on making several reads because they ran a complicated system of routes on a limited number of plays. Each of the 5 targets could have 3 different routes depending on coverage. Love basically has to make reads on every throw. If he makes the right one, he doesn't have to go through a progression as often. Not to mention some of plays were quick hitters.. . .
