1. Aaron Rodgers- He is main gear of the offense, as well as the entire team.
2. Nick Perry- Defense has been dying for a player opposite of Matthews. Last I heard, he didn't look great in OTA's, which is to be expected as he was a hand-in-dirt player throughout college. Important help in pass rush.
3. Jerel Worthy- Like Perry, defense needs this rookie to perform (like a Cullen Jenkins). Defense success will rely on Worthy (and Perry) pass rush.
4. M.D. Jennings- Assuming he takes the starting role, this is by far the biggest hole on the entire team (imo) because of the predecessor. Jennings has some big shoes to fill and is an important piece to the defensive back field.
5. Tramon Williams- With an injury-ridden season, Tramon had one of his most disappointing season (much thanks to the pass rush as well). He is the #1 CB on the team and needs to perform like one to give this defensive back field the dominance it once has in '10-'11 season.

6. Jeff Saturday- Center was another vacancy the Packers needed to fill. While the offensive line doesn't have too many questions, it is important that Saturday 1. still has gas in the tank, and 2. can click with the current line and Rodgers. Not much doubt in my mind, at least for a year or two.
7. Marshall Newhouse- Seeing as Sherrod had failed his physical, I will use Newhouse. Protector of Rodgers' back. I don't have him higher because there were a few times Newhouse had played well last season and I think he can build on that with this off-season (I think I am one of the few that would prefer Newhouse over Sherrod).
8. Charles Woodson- Another year older and Packers defense is still going to heavily rely on his skill set, now with a small percentage of play at safety. Woodson is an important piece of keeping the secondary of the Packers focused and ready to play every game.
9. Clay Matthews- With the addition of Perry, Clay Matthews is moving back to the right side to play against the left tackles. A huge component to the Packers pass rush, Clay needs to bank off of other players rushing abilities and also stay healthy throughout the season (wrecked hammy).
10. Jermichael Finley- Finley had a rough time last season with a lot of criticism about his dropped passes. I believe the Packers offense revolves around Finley being on the field because he is such a dangerous options, teams must game plan around him. For the offense to be 100% successful, Finley will have to be on top of his game...at least a top 3 tight end.

11. Brian Bulaga- Possibly one of the best, maybe 2nd best offensive lineman for the Packers behind Josh Sitton. Bulaga has done a nice job sealing off the right side for Rodgers and also has great chemistry with fellow lineman, Sitton. It is important for Bulaga to build off past seasons success.
12. B.J. Raji-Had a huge slump of a year last season. Raji must stuff the middle and get more pressure on the pass rush. In his defense, he is on the field A LOT! With the additions to the d-line, Raji should capitalize with the surrounding help.
13. Morgan Burnett- Needs to be injury free this season in order to help the new guy playing across from him. I have liked watching Burnett play over the years, but it would be nice to see him play a full season with zero injuries (hasn't happened yet).
14. Randall Cobb- Two aspects of importance. First, the return game. Cobb brings the Packers something they have been lacking for quite some time. I also think it is important to get him on the field offensively...a lot more than last season.
15. Desmond Bishop- One of the more weaker, overlooked parts of the Packers defense. Bishop is the best the Packers have at the position since AJ Hawk continually struggles to play like he did in college. With the lack of another MLB, it is important that he plays top notch football and stays healthy in the meantime (more calf problems already).

16. Greg Jennings- Only put him on the list because of his injuries.
17. Jordy Nelson- Top 10 in receiving yards and top 3 in touchdowns last season, it is vital that Nelson has continued success to help his surrounding wide receivers. WHITE LIGHTNING!
18. James Starks- Starks is lower on the list of importance because the Packers don't have much need for the running game. However, Starks can be that guy to give the Packers a little spark in this small portion of the playbook. Like many others, needs to stay injury free.
19. Alex Green- We hear so much about how this is going to be the go to guy. Like Starks, Green can help spark that small portion of the playbook. He would be a good 1-2 punch with Starks and help in the screen game.
20. Sam Shields- I think like Charlie Peprah, Shields was a guy who was helped in the '10-'11 season by the Packers pass rush. In some ways, you have to be willing to cut the guy some small slack (read Ty Dunne's article on tackling) because the guy never played a snap of defense in his life. He needs to step up as one of the top CBs so that the Packers do not have to immediately rely on a rookie.

Went a little overboard, sorry.

beast (9h) : But the Return from IR designations had to be applied by the 53 man cutdown.
beast (9h) : It's a new rule, so it's not clear, but my understanding was that they could be IR'd at any time
Mucky Tundra (14h) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (14h) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (14h) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (14h) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (14h) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (15h) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (18h) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
dfosterf (18h) : Zero- Did you see what I posted about Voice of Reason and his wife? She posted over at fleaflicker that they are both "In"
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Well, not crazy, it makes sense. Crazy I didn't notice/find it earlier
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : it's crazy how one stored procedure to get data bogged everything down for speed here
dfosterf (7-Aug) : to herd cats or goldfish without a bowl. They reminded me of the annual assembly of our fantasy league
dfosterf (7-Aug) : out on a field trip, outfitting them with little yellow smocks. Most of the little folk were well behaved, but several were like trying
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Yesterday my wife and I spent the afternoon on the waterfront here in Alexandria, Va. A daycare company took about 15 three/four year olds
wpr (7-Aug) : seems faster. yay
dfosterf (7-Aug) : Wife of reason posted on the in/out thread on fleaflicker that both she and vor are in
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : This page was generated in 0.135 seconds.
Mucky Tundra (7-Aug) : Tbh, I can never tell the difference in speed unless it's completely shitting the bed
Zero2Cool (7-Aug) : Sure does feel like site is more snappy
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : I thought that was the Lions OL
Mucky Tundra (6-Aug) : Travis Glover placed on IR; seasons over for him
Zero2Cool (6-Aug) : found bad sql in database, maybe site faster now?
dfosterf (5-Aug) : I'm going to call that a good move.
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Packers sign CB Corey Ballentine
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : I'm not sure how to kill the draft order just yet so it's not so confusing.
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : *to be able
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : and because it's not a dynasty league (which makes a lot more sense to be ability to trade picks)
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Oh I know; I was just exploring and it blew my mind that you could trade picks because of the whole reordering thing
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Zero, I think I preferred my offer: your 1st for my 15th rounder
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : Keep in mind, we do a draft reorder once all members locked in
Zero2Cool (4-Aug) : You can have my 12th Rd for your 2nd round
Mucky Tundra (4-Aug) : Hey i didn't know we could trade picks in fantasy
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Update: Rock has tried a cheese curd, promises it's not his last
Zero2Cool (3-Aug) : watch it!! lol
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : you're right, we never did leave, the site just went down :P
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Rock claims to have never eaten a cheese curd
Zero2Cool (3-Aug) : We did not leave.
Mucky Tundra (3-Aug) : Family Night! WE ARE SO BACK!
Mucky Tundra (2-Aug) : To this day, I'm still miffed about his 4 TD game against Dallas on Thanksgiving going to waste
Martha Careful (2-Aug) : Congratulations Sterling Sharpe. He was terrific and I loved watching him play.
beast (2-Aug) : I believe it's technically against the CBA rules, but Jerry just calls it a simple unofficial chat... and somehow gets away with it.
beast (2-Aug) : Jerry Jones is infamous for ̶n̶e̶g̶o̶t̶i̶a̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ chatting with players one on one... and going around the agent.
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Oo just saw a blurb saying that Dallas negotiated directly with Parsons and not through his agent
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : I assumed that both guys will get paid, just a matter of when or how we get there
Zero2Cool (1-Aug) : McLaurin nor Micah going anywhere. They will get money
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : the Synder years or do they take care of one of their own?
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Do the Commanders risk losing a top WR with an emerging QB just because he's turning 30 and potentially risk damaging the rebuild from
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : Turns 30 this September, plays at a high level and Washington has some cap space I believe
Mucky Tundra (1-Aug) : More interesting is Washington with Terry McLaurin
