The boys at PFF not impressed.

20. GREEN BAY PACKERS
There’s no doubt Green Bay has the best red-zone receiver in the game in Davante Adams, who came away as PFF’s highest-graded receiver on red-zone targets a season ago. After the always-reliable Adams though, Green Bay’s receiving corps drops off significantly. Veteran tight end Jimmy Graham finished his first season in Wisconsin with the lowest-graded season of his career, and second-year wide receivers Equanimeous St. Brown and Marquez Valdes-Scantling still have yet to prove they are deserving of being a WR2.

As a result, Rodgers’ receiving room in 2019 is looking gloomy.

They don't even mention Allison.
So I'm gonna have to call this article BS!

Without knowing much about the other 31 teams I'd say this is probably pretty close. I would have been surprised if they were any higher.

Davante is an all star.

Then we had three rookies. Thay all seem to be taking that "second year step." No WRs are up to speed as rookies. There is a learning curve.

Jimmy was on pace to set a team TE record, before he broke his thumb.

Geronimo and Kumerow are low ceiling high floor "try hard" guys with marginal skills, but who never make mistakes.

Our QB broke his leg week one, played the season on that.

Our new coach is going to actually scheme guys open. Successfully.

PFT is just basing things off last year, where Allison was a non-factor to them because he didn't get enough snaps for them to grade him and they fail to factor in part of what held MVS back was that he was a rookie #2 with almost zero chemistry and little trust from his QB which strongly factors trust I to his throws.

So if MVS will get a lot better if he simply gains his QBs trust and gets some chemistry with him, that's even if MVS doesn't improve, which he should in his second year.

Allison put up some good numbers when healthy and I think he's better than people think, and that slot receving role is a star role in this system. So no matter if it's Graham or Allison in that role, they should do well.

I'm tired of the Rodgers physical injury excuse, as that didn't hold him back, his failure in chemistry and trust is what held him back.

I think part of it was lack of chemistry with the new WRs.
But I also think part of it WAS Rodgers injury. I think it affected his accuracy. A leg injury, where you can’t push off like normal, will affect the throwing ability.
So I believe that played into it as well.

It will be up to Aaron and the WRs to change the minds of the “experts”.
Good blackboard material! Give some extra incentive for the guys to prove them wrong.

dfosterf (16h) : PFOW Out of our division would be a good thing imo
Zero2Cool (17h) : Jameson Williams is done at 24 years old? What? He's a WR, not QB. I'm missing something here haha
wpr (18h) : Tomorrow is almost here.
packerfanoutwest (18h) : would you want him if Pack needed a back up qb?
packerfanoutwest (18h) : JW is done......stick a fork in him
Zero2Cool (20h) : You should. He goes to AFC that helps Packers.
packerfanoutwest (23-Apr) : don't care
Zero2Cool (22-Apr) : Lions shopping Jameson Williams?
packerfanoutwest (22-Apr) : Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst says Green Bay’s roster can win, even without adding anyone in the draft.
Zero2Cool (22-Apr) : It's a poor design. New site has SignalR like our gameday chat

wpr (17-Apr) : 7 days
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
