And I know your not talking about me because Lancaster played enough last year that I know what we're getting when he gets on the field... he can be a good NT and Clark or Lowry can move to 3 tech... and Packers are using Z. Smith at the 3 tech on passing downs.
The jury is still out on the rest sure, but we're talking about 4th guy on a unit that usually only has two on the field, usually the 4th guy is unproven and they got more upside potential than most 4th guys.
I liked Daniels too, and thought it would be smart to keep him as well, but big multi-season view this could potentially be a very good move. Otherwise you're saying the exact same things next year, because they didn't get a shot to get on the field this year.

Unpopular opinion at the time, but Cobb should have never been resigned to that deal, it was too much... he didn't get released from that contact soon enough.
