I can't say if I like or dislike the new HC but claiming Aaron hired him is hysterically funny.

My thoughts are I'm not impressed with @undisputed.

I'm going to wait until LaFleur has some HC games under his belt before making a judgement.

They want head lines, they want former Brady or former Brees coach going to coach Rodgers for the highlines, they don't know shit, they want headleads so they can be attention whore, and since they didn't get what they wanted, they're going to be attention whore by being shock jocks and burying the move as must as possible (which Skip did), to get headleads and people to spread their message around... to get.more attention, because attention equal money in their business.

At the end of the day, their job is to get attention, not to know shit...

My take is that, what he calls "dinking and dunking" is what I call, "wearing down a defense." "Chunk plays" are a result of YAK, or of screens and traps, where the RB makes somebody miss. You get those in the natural course of pursuing excellence due to downfield blocking and wearing a defense down until they are tired, especially late in games.

HOWEVER, we all know that the NFL wants to change the game to conform to Madden video games, and the rules favor huge DPI penalties. I mean, if you got a guy open, there's nothing wrong with taking your shots, but can we adhere to fundamentals? This is going to encourage Aaron's propensity to go sandlot.

However, seeing as this is the worst kept secret around, it seems like 99.99% chance Matt LeFleur is our new Head Coach. So, we're all going to dig deep and find everything we can about him to get a jump start. And if LeFleur rejects the offer (sources have stated he already accepted, hence the Packers telling other candidates the position is filled) or if he changes his mind, then guess what? We will cross him off our list and we'll start digging deeper into other candidates.

And my favorite was Da bares- Dave McGinnis not because he was such a HC wiz. Rather it made the bares look so incompetent and they fumbled, stumbled and bumbled the process causing other worthwhile candidates to back off and turn them down. They ended up with Dick Jauron. He only had 1 winning season and lost to the Eagles in the playoffs.

It's happened before and it will happen again. We can roll with the assumption that ML is the new HC at GB.

Update: Looks like Aaron Rodgers knew of the hire when he gave his good ole 'Like'

I just found out today that Matt LeFleur coached at my alma mater, Northern Michigan University, in Marquette, Michigan just 15 miles down the road from my house..
He coached quarterbacks and receivers for one season in 2006.
I remember him playing against NMU but I didn't know that he coached there.

A valid concern.
Nevertheless, I think ML thinks a slant and square out are chunk plays, while check-downs to the back and quick WR screens are dinking and dunking. The distinction is aggressiveness vs. taking what the defense gives you.
If you are going to throw it to a back, hit him with a head of steam running swiftly in a particular direction.

Skip Bayless is an asswipe an Shannon Sharpe is a DS. Sterling got all the brains in the family.
