take away Rodgers, this team would be 3-13, maybe. That's why MLF is not in the running

And do you not see the difference the plays that MLF has put into the Packers offense, that has changed the way the offense performs?
That has made a HUGE difference in how incredible the offense has been this season.
It’s night and day from Mike McCarthys offensive plays.
Without MLFs new offense, we’d probaby end up 8-8 at the best, even with Rodgers.
Take away Mahomes from KC, or any superstar player from any team, and the teams wouldn’t be as good as they are with said stars.

Should that take away from what the head coach has added to the team?
Being such a young coach, and getting the team to perform at such a high level is amazing in my opinion.

Although I believe many us undervalue and over blame Rodgers, he was here during Mike McCarthy last few years and the team was far worse (and no, he didn't 'tank' it)

MLF as clearly made a difference.

Whether he is COTY or not I am glad he is our coach.

Teams that use this system and their ranking in yards per game

Packers #2 in the NFL in offensive yards per game
Vikings #3
Titans #4
Rams #6

49ers #14
(lots of injuries including starting QB, though their backup QB is on pace for 2nd-most passing yards ever through 16 starts )
Browns #16 (#2 in running the ball and 9-3 record)

Jaguars #23 (kinda surprised they're not further down on this list, as their record sucks and they were thought to be the worst team in the NFL before the season, and had at least 3 different starting QBs)

Bengals #27, had the #1 pick in the NFL last year for a reason, and starting QB got injured.

So 8 teams (25% of the NFL) now use this offense

Of the 5 that have been able to keep their starting QB healthy.... 4 of those 5 (80%) are currently in the top 6 in offensive in yards per game

Or half of the teams that use this scheme are currently in the top top 6 teams in offensive yards per game.

The only thing MLF has against him for winning COTY is Aaron Rodgers. Critics will say he is riding the tail coat of a HoF QB. What they dont know is MLF is scheming guys open in this offense and making Rodgers a step better then years past.

I think he should’ve won it last year. Look at the record difference from McCarthy to LaFleur....

Zero2Cool (3h) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (3h) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (6h) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (7h) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (7h) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (8h) : Thank you
wpr (8h) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (8h) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (8h) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.
wpr (8h) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (8h) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (8h) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (8h) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (9h) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (9h) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (9h) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Ben going to Bears. He'll be out in 3 years.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : what's so funny?
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Bears are finalizing a deal to hire Ben Johnson as their head coach. (via @tompelissero )
Mucky Tundra (20-Jan) : Looks like Lions OC Ben Johnson is going to be the Bears coach
