Found it.
"If the Packers do hire McDaniels, it would make things interesting. And according to reports, Patriots offensive coordinator is the leading candidate to win the job. Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated was on FS1's the "Herd with Colin Cowherd" recently and he was asked who is the leading candidate to be the next head coach for the Packers. Breer said he continues to hear Josh McDaniels be the guy because he could come in and work with Aaron Rodgers, which is something the Packers need in order to move forward.
"That would make some sense because they need somebody who can come in there and coach Aaron Rodgers," Breer said to Cowherd. "I know that sounds simple because he's such a great player, but it's actually kind of complicated. How do you challenge a guy like that? How do you come in and make him better on a day-to-day basis?"
"There aren't very many people on the planet who have experience doing that with that sort of player. Josh McDaniels actually does.""
So I guess find out how recently Albert Breer said that to see whether his comments were early on in the search or just in the last few days. Could just be initial thoughts.
