First time I have listened to this podcast. He called Alexander the "Anti-Randall". Hmm. I guess I will listen a little longer.

After months of anticipation the draft is done and we’re left to sort through the pieces. We’ll tell you why you should be excited about the top end of this year’s draft, why it’s okay to draft a punter and a long snapper, and how one specific trade could be a big part of what makes or breaks the middle part of the Packers draft. Then, we’ll dive into what the Packers should do next and who’s on the roster bubble.

I was gonna start a separate thread on this point, but remember when we were champs? That was a DOME TEAM. It was a finesse passing game with a ton of SPEED.

That’s one thing that really stood out to me, these guys can all run. I like Yancey and Allison, but they’re not speed guys. Then you got Trevor Davis, speed but not size. Or route running.

Mike is gonna need another veteran WR, imo, but it looks like Michael Clark might have the inside edge on that position battle. He’s got the size AND the speed. He’s still learning how to run routes, but as a TE, you don’t have to be quite as precise wih that. And I think he’s gonna see some “Jimmy Graham” style action.

I think the Packers would like Cobb back, but not near his current $$$ per year rate, which might have him looking elsewhere.

And too many stop-gap players clog up the pipeline of development... so I don't want Bryant (unless we're getting rid of Cobb short term contract), because some of the other guys need more playing and practice time to develop.

It's time for Cobb, Allison and Davis to put up, or shutup.
Clark and Yancey to prove that they've grown from last year.
And the WR draft picks, to flash enough potential to stick around on the 53.

It might be Adams, Cobb and four wide open spots for battling.

buckeyepackfan (17-Nov) : Jaire and Evans Williams are both ACTIVE! Good news.
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : The badgers really need to change the whole offensive scheme. No draws no screens plus the quarterback is marginal
Cheesey (17-Nov) : If the Badgers had a decent QB, they would have won. The guy can't hit a wide open receiver
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : chop block
Martha Careful (17-Nov) : there was a very questionable job Block call that upon viewing replay was very borderline
