Z...it isn't divorce. It's hiding the ugly chick and banging her in the bedroom while being seen around town with a younger prettier one. Trying to make dupes of us all.

Easy, Wayne. No different than Edgar being OC and not calling plays or Sherman Lewis back with Holmgren.

This whole thing is a sham. Ted and Mike still running things just like always. Status quo supreme. Org thinks it can get away with something as sick and vile as this and they're right. Few will question and less will leave.

Every single move calculated to give an appearance of change when there is none. It's always been about protecting Ted and Mike. Mark Murphy wants money to roll in and doesn't dare slay the fatted calf(s). Hides Ted and leaves Mike. Just shocking. All the while, the appearance is how different things are now while they'll be almost exactly the same. Philbin and or McAdoo returning and a likely promotion from within at DC. Orchestrated ruse par excellence. Kudos for their double reverse trickeration. Great when it's done to another team but unacceptable when you're the intended target of the con.

I agree that while Ted is still on the staff, I am not sure what is going to actually change, especially if Russ Ball is the GM. I think if Eliot Wolf or Brian G is GM, we'd see changes.

I have used hyperbole plenty but that wasn't one of those times.

You're right. I'm truly teetering on the edge of whether I will follow this team anymore. I hate watching how fans accept this stuff and can't be party to it. I've been angry for years but hopeful and patient waiting for change. Honestly believed we were getting it only to find out it's going to be as bad as before but worse because of the lies from Murphy. I think so low of him beyond the stuff you saw from me on Ted. It's too much. I don't respect the people running my team of nearly 40 years. All good things come to an end. Ball would be the coup de gras especially for the way this org tried selling it.

So, you're right I'm almost not a follower. Not sure how you can be okay with this but we're all different. Some bailed on the NFL for anthem protests and never looked back. This is my moment to walk. Everyone has a limit in everything. Ball is past my limits.

I rewatched his presser. A mountain of lies regarding Ted and this search. It's a disgrace. No hyperbole. I dislike Murphy more than I ever disliked Ted. Ted was a weirdo but Murphy is stone cold slippery and a liar of the highest order. Shame on us for ever hiring this huckster after the classy Bob Harlan.

Some people couldn't root for Joe Mixon or Tyreek Hill based on their backgrounds. I couldn't be okay with Brett Favre after 2000 and can't be okay with a scumbag as our CEO. I would've been better off not seeing the presser but needed to see and hear and got more than I bargained for. I'm disappointed so much that I even had my wife listen to me and I never talk Packers with her.

By conspiratorial I meant all these "lies", everyone in power is out to get you bullshit. The Packers, the more popular media, etc, etc.

I don't think McGinn's article was conspiracy like. Just think his use of the f word (friend) was probably wrong.

You don't love "your" team because they are good, you love them because they are YOUR team.

If all it takes for you to leave is them making decisions that YOU don't agree with, then you were never really a FAN of that team in the first place. A REAL fan sticks by them no matter what they do. That doesn't mean you have to agree with every move they make.
But to dump them just because of hard times is in my opinion, lame.
If that was the way I am, I would have dumped the Packers in the 1970's.
As you can see, I'm still here.
I was made fun of by many people back then for remaining a fan of the Packers.
ANYONE can back them when they are winning, and making great draft picks.

I've been a follower for nearly 40 years, but people should be open to change with new information. The newest info is this org is run by a lying scumbag that I have no respect for. Ted was tolerable as frustrating as he was for me due to his shoot low slow philosophy. Hated it for years and years...daily.

My team is my team because that's where I grew up. It's a love that was started by a mentor of mine who used to play HS football vs. Tim Krumrie. I lost him to cancer a few months back and it's been very hard on me with him gone. The Packers run very very deep for me and very long. I love Wisconsin and my old hometown. Just found out they're tearing down my old elementary and I almost broke down and struggle with them taking away a place I developed, loved, and felt safe. So, I'm incredibly nostalgic and care deeply about things that I have relationships with. However, one can only take so much. I despise Mark Murphy. I detest lying especially the blatant reckless nature of Murphy and really really hate what they're pulling on this fanbase. It's vile and despicable. This is a publicly held franchise that is supposed to be unique and special. It reeks of corporate America. It's soulless. The Packers are corporate America if you watched Murphy. I detest that and loved what I thought was a slice of time now gone elsewhere but I learned that it is very sadly gone in Green Bay, too.

I have major issues with people like you and your ilk just be a fan no matter what approach. I made it almost 40 years and it took being blatantly lied to by a scumbag I could never respect and a plan to take the Packers backward into what they said they were moving away from. This is WORSE than Ted and I was barely hanging on with his outdated philosophies and ways of working in the modern NFL. You can't then lie to me that we're changing and give me even worse under the guise of better. I'm not a chump. I won't be disrespected.

There are many long time NFL fans who left over anthem protests. Were they not ever real NFL fans? They just happen to stand for more than RAH RAH Green Bay Packers this is my team! That's really kind of pathetic if you really think about it. There is no license to walk on people who devote way too much of their time. The relationship is severed by lying. I'm incredibly forgiving but I'll never get a moment from 1265 ever admitting the wrongs and asking for it, so it's time to move on should the Ball drop.

Funny thing is it won't be hard to walk away not if it's this way because standing for something I believe in means WAY more than nearly 40 years of blind football allegiance. It's sad that you don't understand that and might be the reason I could never mesh with your type because I can't respect your mentality. I question things in my own character and self daily. I expect certain simple things from me and those close to me. Like...telling the truth.

I became a worse person for finding my first Packers forum almost 20 years ago. I developed post rage. When people see people driving and causing near accidents because they don't pay attention because they're texting, reading, looking at themselves or eating, I find that something to get wrangled over. Why watching people spout things they have no clue about mindlessly just seemed to do the same thing to me. I guess coming out of a sports media background and having to listen to a certain mentality call into years worth of radio shows both national and local just wore on me. I hear the same kinds of things here and elsewhere. I like smart conversation and there is some to be found here that's why I came and went all these few years here. However, watching smart people accept things that I can't is hard to swallow. I don't like it for some odd reason. It shouldn't bother me but at times it did and that's a warning sign to me. I've left a lot for my own sake.

Ultimately, everything in life is about relationships. The relationship has been fractured beyond repair for the immediate indefinite future. You have no idea how and why I hate lying as much as I do. It's the most deplorable part of human nature. I've forgiven many as we all have but not for something like this because I really don't need it. It's a relationship with nothing really...a game on TV.

To Mark Murphy:

“I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you.”

Zero2Cool (28-May) : Love says knee affected him all season, groin injury didn't help matters.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : I used to enjoy him on FOX Pregame. Now it's like a frat party of former Patriots.
Zero2Cool (28-May) : LaFleur on Watson: “Christian is doing outstanding. I would say he’s ahead of schedule.”
Martha Careful (28-May) : Bradshaw is a dumb ass cracker. I am so tired of his "aw shucks" diatribe. He should shrivel up and go away.
