86. Check with ESPN. Most of it came in the 4th quarter garbage time when Detroit was in prevent defense.

Besides, as I said before, between the uncalled DPIs and outright drops, it balances out.

Dude took a step forward today. He needs more quality reps. LET HIM THROW THE BALL.

When they got up by 3 scores they backed down the pressure and were more concerned about consuming time off the clock. You can call it anything you want if it helps you get through the night. Fact is the defense was soft for most of the 4th.

And nerd you are waffling. You are blaming poor QB #s on everyone but Hundley. That's not allowed. Stand up and be a man. There are no excuses for dropped passes or PI that are not called. His performance is his performance. Live with it. No one runs around saying Aaron's career 104 rating would be better if not for dropped passes or the refs non calls. I am giving Hundley the "almost league average" at 86 even with the soft 4th q bump. He sort of earned it. Based on his 4th q boost he earned it sort of.

And btw, even on at last drive, he was making good throws. You see that one throw when he split those defenders and hit the WR over the middle in a small window? THAT, is what i want to see from Hundley. The major question on him is his accuracy.

They say 86 on hhe postgsme show, I had a 105 and change on him.

Fact is, he was making his reads a little faster. He knew where the hot read was. He know where to go with the ball, and he was making accurate throws.

Look back, his success started when he was allowed to throw more than -5 yards down the field. That's to what it correlates, not garbage time.

Hundley is in 3rd year and started 2nd NFL game. Get the fuck off his ass with your bullshit expectations. You (myself included here) spoiled fucks. Not every QB is elite from the get go. Look for improvements from game to game. Stop demanding Brett perform at a top five QB level.

I don't think I've ever had the phrase...polishing a turd ring so loudly in my head reading these last few posts.

Yeah, Hundley was so great we put up 10 points until the give up by Detroit at the end.

In fairness, he led an opening drive that should've been 3. Having the first 15 plays scripted seemed to help him but they were also letting him run which they stopped doing for some odd reason.

Anyone thinking any of this is okay baffle me. You don't insert a backup for on the job training but that is what we've done. Praising development is something for a rookie and shouldn't be for a guy you need to win games for you.

Brett Hundley is not even close to being up for the challenge of winning us games. He lost badly to two dome teams here at home. I'm miffed by anyone talking him up when he's destroying this season. Oh sure...maybe, he'll improve enough to eek us by Cleveland on the road. If someone put a gun to my head right now and said... I pull this trigger if you get this wrong...Who will win, GB or Cleveland? If that game was this Sunday I'd put my hands in the life of the Browns but sure...you have real confidence in Hundley based on what you've seen?

There were times he could have stayed in the pocket longer but again feeling the pass rush is something that has to be learned under fire.

He had Kendricks drop a ball that should have been caught, Adams dropped two, Jordy was raped on two deep balls that were also well thrown. When allowed to play he was throwing pretty good.

McCarthy said, Hundley is not the problem and he was correct. McCarthy was the problem.

If you're going to do it the way we did that draftee better be prepared.

Here's a fun fact...

I blame MM, also. QB guru? Sure. I said before if Hundley failed this is an organizational failure. Not just MM. Total organization. Hundley was the orgs answer after living through Seneca and Scott. 12 still bailed them out. Not this year.

Lions game was critical to playoff hopes. Hasn't been focused on here but that loss was crippling to post season hopes. Having a guy like Hundley was the orgs answer. It was the wrong answer.
