Every time I bring up certain people suggesting we trade Rodgers, start Huntley for an instant super bowl people get cranky but it still makes me laugh. As with everything else and with ALL of us (including me, despite my hard work to avoid it) oversimplifying absolutely everything, we always want someone to blame. The fact is, it's a massive assortment of mistakes, poor performances, random bad bounces, all outweighing a wide assortment of good to great moves that's to blame for where this team is where it's at right now.

If ya'll are going to incessantly bitch and moan and whine about the same thing over 42 threads at least show your not a compete dumbasses about football; act like ya know something about the game. Talk about the route running or the protection or how the wind factored, something, anything to show ya know something about the game. One start and ya wanna hang the guy? Are ya'll just all a bunch of morons or is there something else at play in your collectively sinked opinion of Hundley? BTW, Hundley had a respectable QBR rating; of the 29 QBs that played Sunday he was #14, Brees #13 playing on same field conditions. Hundley 10 drives 17 points; would have been 20 if not for a moronic play by another Rodgers. Rodgers first start: 10 drives 17 points. Huh? Why wasn't there any kiddy twitter monosyllabic bitch ranting about him šŸ˜‚? I have no idea why there is such a distaste for Hundley; but your collective incessant failure to relate it to something that occurred on the field clearly makes me think it's about something else. The QB doesn't block for himself, he doesn't throw the ball to himself, you dorfs know this right? So, isn;t only logical that if you're going to blame him for a fumble or an INT when 2 receivers are in the same area; ya should explain yourself, right? Or is it more important believe your right and you root for a GB loss?

QBR attempts to measure the QB's impact on the game. Running for 44 yards doesn't count and the QB running 11 yards for TD is penalized by the passer rating stat. Another very interesting stat is sacks. These kill the team, also lead to greater odds of injury, you'd think people here wold understand this relationship. When the QB takes the sack; he gets a BONUS in the passer rating formula. The QBR punishes a QB for taking a sack. Here Hundley had only 1 sack, and it only occurred because Bahktieri 100% whiffed on Okefor. He got to Hundley in under 2.5 second just before Hundley could get the ball out. Every other time Hundley threw the ball away; Rodgers would have taken at least 6-7 sacks Sunday, because the OL's pass pro was putrid.

Hundley didn't lose this game. In Minny last year Rodgers at QB snatched defeat from GB in Minnesota, he single-handedly lost that game. If Hundey played in Minny last year we win; and he'd have been better last Sunday! During the 4 game losing streak last year; routinely Rodgers would sit behind incredible OL play keeping everyone away. If Hundley played QB in those 4 games, we don't lose all four; plus he'd have been better on Sunday with 4 more starts under his belt.

MM was coordinating the 32nd ranked O when we hired him, and preferred Smith to Rodgers.

Ever wonder where we'd be right now had we traded Hundley? Hill would still be here. We cut Hill and Callahan but somebody wanted Hill enough to stick him on their 53 while nobody wanted to put Callahan on theirs.

If the guys who knew Hill best, not you, thought he'd be as good as Callahan, they'd have kept him. You do understand how a roster is selected?

The last time I remember 1265 making this bad of a cut to 53, ya know, according to you, was when we let HOFer Jumal Rolle go and kept Goodson and the UDFA Guard Taylor, who hadnt should shown anything. Your argument for Rolle was that a childish angry dingbat. Especially after he got 4 INTs [but was benched]. Learn from it! STOP DOING IT! šŸ˜‚.

That he's had the opportunity to work with Favre and Rodgers is fortuitous. McCarthy himself has been fortunate. šŸ˜

3. Eagle fans cried for years wanting Andy Reid fired because he couldn't get them a Super Bowl win. (Sound familiar only Mike does have 1).
Eagle fans found out real quick that Andy was actually pretty Damn good )

Think about it!

Tired of all the Damn negativity around here.

Last I looked there's 16 games in a regular season.
Some here have already given up.
NOW THAT'S TOTAL BULLSHIT!
Last I looked The Packers have the 6th best record in The NFC right now.
Real football is just starting.

I'm not going to sit around and boo hoo every week because The Packers were thrown a bad break.

When some members start thinking they know more than the GM and Coaching Staff, that's when they show their football ignorance.

Just realized I put this in wrong comment.

I was answering wpr.
My apologies nonstop.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Do you think the Eagles miss Reid? I don't think they do. I think they're glad he's gone and always have been.

Honestly seeing how some of you "fans" react through a little adversity makes me think you don't deserve a successful team. Knee jerk reactions galore with some hyperbole to boot (a return to the 70's/80's? šŸ˜• )

Hill was going to save us? Gotcha
Hundley is a bust after playing a dominate Vikings d and surprisingly improved Saints d? Ok

I'm just going to treat some of you like my senile grandpa and nod my head to whatever crazy shit comes out next. But he's 91 with dementia, whats your excuse? šŸ˜

Deserve? You, I, and everyone else doesn't deserve a good, bad or indifferent football team. You want to talk crazy talk? What have you done to deserve something you watch on TV a few Sunday's a year? My view of this team has no bearing on what I deserve as I deserve nothing just like you. Talk about some sense of entitlement. Geesh.

Andy Reid ain't missed. He was known as the worst clock manager in the game. Fans of Philly are glad he's gone and wouldn't take him back. On that same token, I'll gladly take someone under Mike McCarthy to get rid of Mike McCarthy and even moreso for TT's understudy.

As for Hundley, our backup QB record ain't exactly good when Rodgers isn't there so it isn't exactly a knee jerk reaction. If there's some contrary evidence you'd like to point out, I'd love to take a look. This is MM's guy... 3 TC's with him. Didn't want anyone else but him, well, at least publicly, to be his QB after 12's injury. You do realize that if Hundley totally flops that it's on MM, right? This is 100% an indictment on our organization if Hundley fails to get us in position where a potential Rodgers return could even matter. It's odd how it seems many want distance from that fact. Let's get it clear right now. Who is at fault if the Packers fall out of the playoff race? It wouldn't surprise to hear some crackpot answer as accountability is something this org never is subjected to.

Ted traded up...had a much higher grade on Hundley. Mike McCarthy said he's his guy. Brett said Aaron is his brother and prepared him. If this goes wrong, let's take a clear eyed look at it. Passing for 87 yards vs. a BRUTAL Saints defense especially a bad team on the road outside on grass. Detroit next. Lions have won once in over two decades. If we lose this one, it is time to go into full blown panic mode. Time to call it what it is not make some nice excuses as always seems to be the go to among much of our fanbase.
Mike McCarthy isn't a great HC...Ted is not a great GM and that's been how it's been since they've been here. Just because Aaron fell down the draft board and became probably the GOAT doesn't preclude looking at this with clear eyes. Not a great GM, not a great HC, but one heckuva QB. That's truth. Oh, and if Mike McCarthy built him, and he can't build Hundley I think I'll go with Rodgers being able to do this without Mike McCarthy just fine.

I know because I had to listen to it each and every week after they got rid of DeSean Jackson. The fans had no trust or respect of Kelly and were losing it as time went on, they trusted Reid and just wanted someone else doing their drafts/defense. Also Eagles fans really liked that Doug Pederson had spent time under Reid.

Things are starting to get a bit heated in this thread, nothing over the line but let's all remember to take a deep breath and talk about things respectfully and without namecalling. No matter how wrong you think the other person is. We're all fans of the same team.

Besides, we all know I'm always right.
