Nerd I get what you are saying but look at the last 2 games closer. Aaron is not standing int he pocket waiting and waiting for someone 20 yards down field to come clean. Aaron is running around for his life on almost every single play. He is buying time because no one is open. Those quick little passes went for nearly no additional yards every single time. You can't win a game by passing for 2-3 yards and hoping the defender with miss the tackle.

Play 2: 1st and 10 –Shuffle pass to Monty for 1 yard, but Monty should have gotten 3-4 at least [Something was wrong with him].
Play 3: 2d and 9- Blitz up middle quick pass to Allison for 9 or more; but dropped. [Adams, Bennett and Nelson all open for 4-5 yards at least].
Play 4: 3rd and 9- Slight roll out to get angle on out, quick pass to Allison on 11 yard out.
Play 5: 1st and 10-Quick pass to Allison for 3.
Play 6: 2nd and 7-Allison is open for at least 3; Bennett open for at least 2; Rodgers passes them up. McCray and Murphy with a chip keep pocket clean. Hits Jordy on comebacker for 10.
Play 7: 1st and 10-Quick pass to Monty for 5 yards. Bennett was open for at least 5 as well
Play 8: 2nd and 5-Quick pass to Bennett for 6
Play 9: 1st and 10-Quick pass to Adams for 9
Play 10: 2nd 1: Adams is wide open for 3 on quick pass; pocket is not bad McCray doing great; Murphy giving up ground on a bull rush, to at about 2.2 seconds, so Rodgers tries to hit Monty in endzone, INC
Play 11: 3rd and 1: Run to Monty for 1st
Play 12: 1st and G at 7: Linsley snaps early when Lawson jumps; Rodgers with free play scrambles and goes for broke.
Play 13: 1st and G at 3: Slight roll out to get angle on out, quick out to Jordy for TD.
Receivers were open on EVERY play; Rodgers went sandlot on Play 1 and maybe a bit on plays 6 and 10. Rodgers didn’t need to do it at all. If he's patient and executes the offense even with McCray and Tabor Pepper at Tackle, we can cut Vogel.
