It's about the money probably in terms of savings for letting him go at this point. We wish him well!

There are only so many roster spots even in training camp. Though I did think they would have kept one of the two on roster. One RB with 1/2 year NFL experience and 3 rookies isn't the best idea IMO. Are there any other veterans still on the market that might be brought in yet.

I'm assuming this means Rip has become our blocking 3rd down back? I like the potential of some of the rookies, but I hate playing around with guys who haven't shown they can pass protect. Wouldn't mind another veteran runningback brought it, if only for pass pro prowess. If one of the rookies shows they can beat him out great, but I really don't wanna trust a rookie back there!
