I would feel better if they were playing in December or January.

I'll rip off my shout post. I sure hope Aaron is getting reps this preseason. Not going to find your groove playing against that Seattle D. The only blessing is that Seattle like us tend to be slow starters. Sherman will probably be quite motivated with these trade talks.

In 2013 Eddie Lacy drafted # 61 by Packers, is now a Seahawk.

In 2013 Christine Michael drafted #62 by Seahawks, is now a Packer.

The Packers signed Michael off the street at vet minimum, no cost to compensatory picks.

The Seahawks signed Lacy to a 1 year 5.5 mil, 3mil guaranteed contract, Green bay will recieve some type of comp. pick in 2018.

Going to be interesting to see who comes out on top in these transactions.

The part I don't think that bodes well for the Packers is:

The Packer offense usually starts the year slow
We have not seen anything to help the defense so far
Lacy is with the Seahawks and the game is early, which means Lacy will be in shape and wanting revenge.

Eh I feel like the reps they get in practice are at a much higher pace than the vanilla defenses they see in the preseason. I know it's nice to see them cohesive in PS game 3, but I don't think that translates to a faster start once the blitz packages start coming.

Seattle should have no idea how the Packers are going utilize Bennett and Kendricks. That should be a big benefit for the first few weeks of the season.
