I think Cassel will do well. I saw the little stat on ESPNews, his individual stats were better than the Cheifs qbs put together. Like TJ said, I'd go after Crabtree in the draft. Other than Bowe, their recievers are pretty mediocre. Gonzo prolly wont be there this season so he'll need some help at WR. Drafting a Olinemen in the 1st wouldnt be bad either. I could see Pioli trying to get Chad Jackson too, he drafted him pretty high and he never really played due to the talent at reciever in NE.

I'm trying to figure out why people on here are saying Cassell is over rated? He put up good stats and did finish with a 11-5 record. I saw one person say look at the weapons he had, well what were they Moss and Welker and had no running game.

If you are saying Cassell is over rated then that means Rodgers is over rated he had Driver,Jennings and a running game.

Also had 2 game winning drives :pottytrain2:
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Whoever thinks Cassel is good must be dreaming. He played against an amzing o-line with a team that has the weapons in every position needed for a QB ... and failed to make the playoffs. If you put Rodgers as QB for Patriots he would of won SB.
Glad To Be A Packers Fan.

Hazer,

You have to understand, because the Pats RBs played better than Ryan Grant this past season. They used many guys because of injuries. And they all played well, because of the o-line. So Matt Cassell had a killer o-line, a better run game than us, and IMO, better 2 WR set than us. Add a good D to help him win games, and he still doesn't make the playoffs.

Brady had 50 TDs and 8 INTs with those weapons. Cassell got 21 TDs and 11 INTs. I know Tom Brady is Tom Brady, but Tom Brady's numbers were much more reasonable the seasons he didn't have Randy Moss and Wes Welker. The best year he had before the aforementioned players, he had 28 TDs and 14 INTs, one INT more than A-Rod had last year. I know Tom Brady was still way better than A-Rod, in the sense of leading the team, and game winning drives.

Now, Cassell is expected to lead a much an offense with not nearly as good weapons without trouble... that's overrated to me.

i think this could be a mistake. thigpen did a pretty damn good job with absolutely NO pro experience. i watched him as much as possible when he took over the helm & was amazed at his stats. kid tried his damn heart out but i guess that doesn't count in the nfl.

The Patriots had a fairly weak running game. Just because its better than Green Bay's doesn't mean it was good.

Zero2Cool (21h) : Eagles landed AJ Dillon
wpr (21h) : The Packers did not tender restricted free agent John FitzPatrick. The tight end played in nine games after signing with Green Bay
wpr (21h) : The Eagles are signing former Packers running back AJ Dillon, a league source confirms.
Zero2Cool (21h) : Might be waiting for the right place, or right cash, or both
dhazer (22h) : I can't believe Chubb is still a free agent why wouldnt someone take a chance on him he is a stud with stuff to prove
Zero2Cool (23h) : I wanna find it too

Martha Careful (12-Mar) : RIP Junior Bridgeman. An excellent businessman and NBA er
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : It's better to have $17m to use on players who will be on the field. That's why trade/release is talked
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : post june is $7m cap hit with $17m saving
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : oops meant $10m cap hit
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : And pre june is $10m savings
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : Can't make him play.
dhazer (12-Mar) : I am curious why the big need to release Jaire, we have 29 million cap space we arent spending and would only gain $6 million/ make him play
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : Joey Bosa signed with Bills?
dfosterf (12-Mar) : What they are offering is a left over case of Leinies from the Chippewa Falls plant
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : 27, 59, 91, 129 gets you Jaire and our 3rd

Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : 27, 59, 91, 129 and 136 are only ones worth having of theirs.
dfosterf (12-Mar) : What they don't have is cap space, at least presently at 5.6 mil
dfosterf (12-Mar) : Poor bastards only have 11
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : Ravens ain't got crap for picks.
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : Aaron Rodgers is choosing between Steelers and Giants. The Vikings are officially out on him, per RapSheet
dfosterf (12-Mar) : Current cap space 29.6 million.
dfosterf (12-Mar) : Hobbs 2025 cap hit just under 6 million. Banks 2025 cap hit just over 9 million

beast (12-Mar) : Yes, the Ravens have draft picks
dfosterf (12-Mar) : Good luck to him.
Zero2Cool (12-Mar) : Eric Stokes signs with Raiders
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : Tyler Linderbaum C
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : Cap space?
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : Do Ravens have anything we'd even entertain to have?
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : I've seen trade ideas of Jaire going to the Ravens all offseason
beast (11-Mar) : A probably false rumor is suggesting CB Jaire Alexander is being traded to the Ravens, again probably false
beast (11-Mar) : Commanders might have a dominant offense the next 3 years at least
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : San Francisco 49ers announced they have released DL Leonard Floyd.
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : Er getting traded twice like that
Mucky Tundra (11-Mar) : Huh, LT Laremy Tunsil traded from Houston to Washington. Never heard of a top OT getting traded in his career like that
Martha Careful (11-Mar) : Minnesota Vikings cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. is returning on a three-year, $66 million deal
Zero2Cool (11-Mar) : Damn
