I don't agree that Rodgers is an elite QB, not yet. He might be, but I don't think he will be. I like him and think he'll do our team very well, but I just don't see him as an elite QB.

Well Fin i have seen you state that Rodgers is an elite qb after 1 year thats why i ask whats the difference?

Please try to remember my statements more accurately in the future. However, I do feel that Aaron Rodgers is a better QB than Cassel. Why? Better stats for one. The fact that Cassell couldn't manage a playoff season with better recievers (again, this reciever part is just my opinion), and a great defense. To me at least, Aaron has proven he can play in the clutch situations, our defense just blows it after he has produced at least a scoring drive. There are of course multiple exceptions to this, but that is how it has occured most often. The only thing for him to do to make me think of him as an elite QB is to lead us into the playoffs.

Well alot of players and coaches around the league think hes a top 5-8 qb in the league. They have said this over and over on espn and nfl network and i guess like everyone says the players and coaches know more than we do.

I can't believe the Chiefs got him for the 34th overall pick, and a good LB for a year or so that they still might be able to trade for a 4th round pick. Even if he ends up being a backup, that's still a solid backup to have to step in and win some games if you're starter goes down. I mean, he's better then Brian Brohm I think, even though we haven't seen much from him yet.

I think they made a great move. Good for them.

Haha, Cassell is going to the team that gave him the opportunity to shine last year. Irony?
