Yea it feels like this team is not done making moves. I wasn't expecting this type of excitement. The beat writers must be loving this!

So the Eagles got a 1st round pick for Sam Freaking Bradford and we just released Josh Sitton while stashing Callahan.

Can someone explain me what we are doing?

Viking need for QB outweighed other teams' need for Sitton? QB vs Guard value? Something like that maybe.

Their seems to be a high supply of veteran OGs and therefore very little demand.
While their is a very low supply of decent starting QBs and therefore a very high demand.

Though timing is important as well... it's too bad the Packers probably didn't know they were going to move on from Sitton earlier. Or they might of been able to trade him to the Raiders before they paid huge money to sign Kelechi Osemele.

Supply and demand? We're thin on supply and high on demand when it comes to the G position yet we cut him.

Brice has better tackling and closing skills than Evans. One of his strengths is hitting guys like a missile out of nowhere.

A couple of these guys who "made it" are going to be cut after Pennel and Linsley return. Two of them or 3 if we keep Goodson around.

So, we kept SEVEN WR's. Amazing.

Looking at the cut list there's only one guy who can really play in the NFL on it... Sitton. The rest might hang in the league for a few but I doubt any of them have great careers. Gilbert I guess has some promise and I hope we PS him.

In essence, cut Josh Sitton to retain Joe Callahan. 😂
