There will be more monkey business all next week. Some think the smokescreen is thick when attempting to keep some players on the PS.

Maybe they sign Sitton to a lower contract.

Stay tuned.

I'm waiting to see if they give Peppers the boot. That guy is NOT worth the money they're paying him. If we're in salary cap mode it makes sense to cut Julius.

I could be wrong, but I'm assuming they sign another LS (maybe Goode) and they have 3 more cuts to make... even though they're currently at 55 players on the active roster.

Normally they keep about 10 DB (a few times 11)... and right now they have 13 DBs... so I'm thinking at least two more DB releases to come. My guesses are S Whitehead and CB Dorleant (since it was reported S Evans has made it, and I liked Brice to make the final roster).

Whomever is cut has been cut for over an hour. Why we don't know is frustrating. We should know all the cuts by now but our org is in chaos so I understand we can't get the cuts out.

But sounds like they might keep 12 DBs (or maybe surprise me with a cut or some bad info on who's being kept). They're down to 55 players (with no LS at the moment).

I'm guessing S Whitehead is not going to make it. And maybe another player gets placed on the IR? (pure guess by my part).

Peppers should go... If Sitton went in youth movement for his money then there is no way Peppers is justifiable with his.

The cuts aren't over... but there currently are still 4 ILBers with Martinez, Ryan, Thomas and Brown.... of course there are also currently 7 S and 6 CBs... but reports have suggested that CBs Gunter, Hawkins, Dorleant and S Banjo, Brice and Evans have all told reporters (well them or their agents have told reporters) that they have been told by the Packers that they have made the final 53 man roster (currently).

A couple of these guys who "made it" are going to be cut after Pennel and Linsley return. Two of them or 3 if we keep Goodson around.
