Depending on the health of the rest of the wr's, he will either be activated or put on IR for the rest of the year.

He can't be placed on the PUP list. Its IR or 53 man roster from day one. He can be IRd and then come back though as they have done away with the "designated to return" label. Any 1 player placed on IR can be brought back after the specified amount of time.
